Northern Light XL autos

Hey matey
Hope alls well
On the diary side of things. This is the first time I’m keeping one and as a rule I’m not the most organised individual.
i won’t be keeping a diary on line this time. I’ll be writing it up myself. just trying to put as much info up as I can. Help with the problem solving when it inevitably arises, hopefully anyway.
Thanks again dood

Hmm just wait a min...

Edit sorry- about that.

I think you made the right call with uping your cal mag. Keep an eye on the newer growth, and keep an eye on your PPM for any sudden rises.

Wait for a 2nd opinion, I'm rather new myself

Hi chaps/ chapette’s
Hope your all doin good
This is the last NL xl auto for the chop(couple of weeks for the jackpot behind her)
I took out 4 colas yesterday as it was all a bit too crowded in the centre. Reason I was concerned was that I noticed some bud rot on one of the already drying ladies.. fuckfuckittyfuckfuck.
only chopped her the night before so I’m assuming she already had it before I put her in drying tent. She was a particularly fat juicy bud. Covered in a white colour mold and disintegrated under slight touch. Never had bud rot before so not sure if it even is that.
Anyway... chopped out the nasty, cut everything Up into single buds . Keep on checking them but so far there isn’t any more to be found.
Dry tent 21c 56% humid.
Temp dropping to 15 c in the evening.

one question though... can rot strike that fast? Or did it need to build up in the grow tent first?
Peace and love an all that

Dang! The bud rot I have experience with comes from within the colas. The affected buds look a little sorry and breaks apart very easily. Inside there's white hairy mold, which I think will turn darker with time. And it's always the fattest colas of course...

IME, it starts in the tent, with a little too bushy plants, too much humidity and/or too little air circulation. I've found them at harvest time and thrown them straight away - they don't get as far as the drying box.

These day I place the flowering plants close to a fan, and I pick off some leaves if they'll allow better air circulation through the plant. I also run lower humidity - no longer want to see > 50% in the tent, preferably a good bit less when there are flowering plants in there. I run autos, so there are both young and old plants in the tent simultaneously which complicates matters a bit, should be easier to manage with only plants of the same age in the tent.

Some actual experts will be along shortly with better advice... :p
