Welp 2 taps on the OG Kush on the first 2, so they will go in soil tomorrow. Other 2 got the napkin. Little ones outside doing ok, they like the sun, hopefully they like nutes as well.
Indoors everything is boring as hell. I first saw pistols Monday on the Diamond Girl....just a couple. I counted 3 roots on the clone last night, will look again tonight. I really want to get these three autos outta the veg area, there all like barely white/mostly clear still. I speculate this process takes longer running a sole 4k temp lamp vs sun or even lamps closer to 3K-just an observation.
The c99 is LANKY as hell. It's got huge spacing. Everytime I drop a free seed, I feel like there is a reason it was free-common plants, sub-par breedings. But they still make weed.
My seedsman order showed up yesterday, think that was 2 weeks total transit time. No problems whatsoever. It did not come via mail-I got an email saying a carrier pigeon had dropped the envelope near the chimney, sure enough. Sneaky as fawk I tell ya.
I ordered a fancy AC Infinity Airplate S9...and it's pretty cool, VERY quiet. NOT enough for plants, but enough to breeze my heatsinks well. Moving it around a bit to see where it's most effective. Draw on Hi 5w.

I can't recommend the AC Infinity fans highly enough! They are an amazing fan system....the inline duct fan line anyways. Reasonably priced compared to most others but the quietness is incredible. My LEDs fans are louder than the AC Infinity duct fan. Lots of cool option with them as well.

Happy humpday. Today I put the earlier pair of OG Kush I dropped into a mix of FFOF and Promix topped with FFLW and Mykos in the hole, pre watered with ph'ed water. One had lost it's shell already, hope they both perk, about 1.5cm under.
The other seedlings are starting their 3rd set o tiny leaves. They get BB and plenty of ph'ed water in the morning. Have not started any N with them, maybe some light water soluble 1-6-4 to about 100ppm sometime this weekend and see what happens. I will say these are the best looking auto seedlings i've grown and I am actually going to put a little effort and attention in these.
Looks like we have shittier weather with a lotta clouds coming. At this stage i've got a LED porch light that they can sit under that is about 2K lux, if it goes for days I will put the Kind 250 in the carriage house and throw them in there. That is a good place for that noisy actively cooled than runs louder than an 83 diesel mercedes. They are not coming in. I don't want cooties coming in again.
Clone has tiny roots, like 3 or 4, if it would show fishbones soon I would just throw it outside, but this one is going to take 25 days.
I gave high Ca for a few days to the tent plants. It seems to have stopped the progress of the funk pictured earlier, it affected 3 fan leaves. I will leave them for now and probably keep giving the Ca cause it sure did not get it in veg much.
I am kinda on the fence on AC Infinity airplate, their not cheap, so it can be done with PC fans for a lot less. Now for the exhaust fan....if your spending money on another inline duct fan (I've tried 5 different ones), just stop.

WELLLLLLLL....I do fall into the camp of people who have swore off autos. I figured I would give the last few I have a chance to prove me wrong. I am not expecting 12 zips off each one, but if I get a solid ounce off anything in a 2 gallon, I will be happy.
So we will see.

I really dislike TV (never really had one growing up) and I don't really admire the lifestyle of those who need 4 hours of fox or cnn a day. I did watch the original Twin Peaks when it was out, and am revisiting the new one. Anyway. I freaking LOVE music and radio and am always playing something random usually on vinyl or R2R. So I will list what's playing on updates. Yea, I am a music/audio nerd.
I've decided on a perpetual thread, as this constantly changing strains and my attempts at sprouting unsexed photos for clones....well stuff changes fast.
I generally grow in amended soil, it's 3 bags of Roots Organic, about 10# blood and bone meal, 20# of earthworm casting, some perlite, rinsed coco (touch), and about 8 other 'au natural' amendments. Bottom line, it's hot. I cook it in rubbermaid troughs outside (covered). It grows plants slightly slower, but I have found a bit of a margin of error with the soil and using fert. I barely need an N added.
Lighting is by 4 cit cobs by Timber in 3500K in the bloom/veg tent. I also have a couple red cobs if I want to use those for bloom ever:

Tent is a 7' gorilla grow, 6" fan vented to crawlspace vent. I use a variety of nutes from fox farms, botanicare, and roots organic.
So currently we have an AK47 Auto, about halfway there. Today I gave it a mix of 1ml seaplex, 2ml of pure blend pro, and about a .25 ml of Pro-tekt. This think has giant fan leaves, I have been cutting them away to get light to the bud sites, currently we have 11 sites on this plant, I may MAY remove the two lower sites-took about 1/3 of the greenery off. I bent them around about 45 degrees and staked them in place with BBQ kabobs so light could get to them.
I also have a White Widow that was transplanted into it's final container today. I plan to clone this plant. I though it was a little early to transplant, but the plant was not really draining correctly in it's little plastic wonder.

I dunno the specs on those lights. I do know people grow a lot of weed under them.
Currently I run:
1 -100w Vero 4K Chibi for Veg. I usually have it running about 50% and it can veg about 12'sq+.
In tent 9'sq
2x100w Vero 3K
4x50w Citi 3.5K
As needed in tent
2x~50w Osram 660nm red
In the tent I start bloom around 250w-280w and slowly increase it to 350/400w. In veg I pretty much leave that light alone, I have vegged a few 5' plants under it.

Not much going on today, but it's friday, I took the day off and am planning a nap after I get a few things done.
Couple quick photos. Only real update is one of the Hum OG Kush seeds is up, it's the one without the seed shell I think. No sign of the others. The two in the napkin are wet, but no crack yet.
This house brand c99 is not really impressing me very much, regardless it's to far along to cull. Been tucking the big ass fan leaves on the DG....very easy to tuck those big ass suckers.

It's nice that they die slower or live!
I would like to see more roots on this one, but I imagine it will just take time. I see 3 or 4 small little ones for about a week now and nothing else.
When mine stall like that I start to harden them to the sun. The topside growth inspires the roots. So maybe some extra light might get them moving.

Will do, was thinking about startng to remove lid and 'crank' the wattage up to like 80w, which is still under 10K lux, at it's distance. I will wait a couple days longer.
Also, I dug up the one OG kush that had grown about an inch southward or in a circle, it did not look good, I repositioned it and will see if it comes up. The pair in the napkin don;t look good, so I will at least drop a couple more autos this weekend.

Looks like the Humboldt OG Kush is going to be 1/4. I still have 2 more in the napkin waiting, we will give em a few days, they have not had a dry accident period.
I went ahead and dropped 2 more auto duck from Dutch Passion. They will get #2 smart outside.
I took the dome off the Diamond Gal clone for about 2 hours today. It's leaves look like there is some takeup....maybe just slow. We will see. I think I have 10+ more seeds of this.

I've taken the top of the DG clone, today it's going to go all day unless it looks terrible. Hopefully with some drying it will send more root out.
The roots on the seedlings look good, they will get up-potted in next 10 days or so.
I gave up on the soaking OG Kush, tossed em. The Ducks are in a napkin now. That leaves current autos at the three mentioned earlier....
I got another little honeywell fan for the base of the tent and another set of those fancy fans for the heatsinks. Good pistols in the tent.
