I know, it really got dark over the last week.

Wilco and Billy Bragg have done 3 double lps of what they call collabs, but it's them putting music to previous unrelease Guthrie lyrics. Their pretty cool listens, lots of good sit ins with natalie merchante and the like. Called Mermaid Ave. 1, 2, 3

I pulled alot of JJ Cale for tonight. And speaking of he has an lp of posthumous unreleased stuff coming in april or may.

Guess I am on an Okie music kick tonight....might even have to pull some Chet Baker.

Mermaid Ave 1 is the place to start, the digital version is superior to the vinyl on all, the vinyl had light pressings and limited low end, yuck. #1 has Down In the Minor Key (think allison krause), California Stars (one of the songs that made wilco big in the 90s, and Walt Whitmans Niece.

It's Alison Krauss, Vince Gill and Ricky Skaggs on Youtube. They did some concerts together.
She was incredible as a live act. She just sounds that good all the time.

DAMN!, I really think very highly of Mr. Skaggs.

I remember a few years back some TMZ reporter was chasing his ass down in Hollywood trying to get his attention to comment on something someone said or did. He locked in on that mediaperson and walked right up to him staring him in the eye and said in a questioning manner something akin to, "we are all sinners...and I am not the judge". with this OK-you get it look.

I went to a few of his family xmas shows before moving to NY way back when.

And his entire family is very underrated.

You would think that Allison Krauss must be overly produced in the studio to get that ethereal sound she has, but she just has it naturally.

There is some excellent and restrained production in Union Station work. Several of her LPs are 500+ unobtanium pieces.

I've heard her live once off mic at rehersal/warm-up with Bruce Hornsby. It's not production. My wife does tease me that I would leave her for Allison. Nah. But it seems she is the only woman she has been worried about after 15 years.

Lets see. In short, son got flu and strep + tests by us morning we left. Kid on tamiflu and biotics. Parents watching kids at house and did a fucking awesome job of watering plants. Get in Vegas on Wed, symptoms for me Thurs morn, I smoked one joint and wend to a punk club thurs, then just stayed in the room till sunday ordering room service and working. Missed String Cheese. Got 2 IVs in the lobby (convenient). Now parents are on tamiflu. Wife is fine. She around this shit all the time.

But we got the important stuff done on the trip. And I did not nearly gamble as much as I expected.

Last time they watched plants I mixed nutes....big mistake, this time I just ph'ed 10 gallons of water in a rubbermaid and left it in the tub for mom to scoup and water....worked fine.

Off to the office for a bit. I see a blunt in my future today, had 5 days off. Might start at 2:20 today!

Gave veg a good dose of N today, around 500ppm, Buddha Grow and Bloom. Gave the flower tent 2ml Botainicare bloom, mammothp, sweet to about 250ppm in 2L.

Got some pics of nice bud swell, also smashed 14g of Raspberry Diesel in one big bag, 2 presses, got a big ass ball, did not weigh it, pressed total time about 2m @ 200 (little hot for this stuff, but it was a cold morning too).

I mentioned earlier that the RD buds are a lot fewer because of younger plant, but been pushing this one a little more than the last....and it has better density.

Raspberry Diesel

The 707 is going to get a good inspection at the trichomes this weekend, and maybe tomorrow....I think it's going to be ready 1st, go figure, it's in the back of the f-ing tent. I put it in the rear intentionally.

I am really please at how the MMG Nagual is bulking, it's got some funky bud growth for leaning for a week or so before I tied a few of them up....
