Today I decided to transplant the original 6 bagseeds to 1 gallon pots. I gave them just a touch of water yesterday to get the soil just wet enough to handle the transplant. Transplant went well as there wasn't any "oopsies" during it. The root ball was tiny. Almost the size of a tennis ball. Didn't get any pictures since it would have been difficult to do everything thing and take a picture by myself.
To help with the transplant, I gave them some nutes. I mixed everything in a 1 gallon jug.
Fox farm grow big - 1/2 tsp
Fox farm big bloom - 2 tsp
Super thrive - 1/4 tsp
Going pretty mild to start with to see how they handle it. Gave that to them and created some runoff. ph was 6.8 when I gave it to them. Nutes took it down to 5.3.
Also, have you guys and gals ever seen one of these "soil masters"? The thing is pretty neat. I currently have it on the moisture setting so itll tell me when the soil is dry at the bottom. Also can read the PH of the soil and also can measure light. Well the light is basically 1-10. Was only $10 on clearance yesterday. What do I have to lose? I had an overwatering issue before so I'm not going to let it happen again.
Well I pulled out my label maker and gave all of the bag seeds proper names so now they can feel more comfortable in their home with the other girls.
Nothing else to report other than I have actually been able to turn on my exhaust fan down because the aircooled hood makes a HUGE difference. I turned it up to 600 watts to see what it would do temp wise, and it was lower than I had it before I moved everything around yesterday on 450 watts!
I think this will be a positive outcome.
