Hi Mellowman,
Your grow is coming along very nicely. I scrogged last year and had good success but I was a tad green in the technique. Lately the screen just supported the plants and I didnt do scrogg. But I really think you got it down pat. I am anxious to see your outcome. I will try to emulate your technique with the scrogg.
reps if I could
Your grow looks really good.
See ya

Lookin good Mellowman! You seem to have the cabinet dialed in nicely. Its so much fun to watch them start out small, and then get huge. Mother nature rules.
Thanks fineas feel free to ask me any questions about my cabinet or scrogin.
Thanks smokeymcmedic
Thanks for the advice pan... How much hydrogen peroxide per gallon/plant should i use? I am really glad you brought this up normally I trim the roots if they outgrow your pots but there is no way to do that with a scrog. Will it affect the leaves or buds at all? What does it do and how does it do it lol.
+ rep for the helpful info.
Hey everybody I watered the girl with ph adjusted water at 150 percent recomended nute level and I added a tsp per gallon of hydrogen peroxide as pan sugested. I did a lot of research on the hydrogen peroxide and its really beneficial to the roots. You can see that the plants are close to done growing and are focusing a lot more on bud production. There are still no new roots showing out of the bottom drain holes so that's good news. The buds are really starting to grow and reak! Ill post new pics later tonight once I get home from work.
if i have root issues i use about 80ml every 5-7 days it has to be topical i have had problems with other nontopical brands. The bad about perox is that it kill benifical backteria sorry i suck ace at spelling. hope this helps
Chevy - what up man thanks for stopping bye. It sure smells good thats for sure!
Poke Smot - Yeah I did a lot of reading myself and I decided for soil it is unwise to use more than a half a tsp every other watering. It is really amazing how beneficial peroxide is to roots. The funny thing is you think it would burn it them up and kill your plant but instead it creates extremely reactive oxegen atoms... So cool.
Just got off of work and am at school pics when I get home lol...
Thanks Ghetty and jbek it is so extremely fruity smelling... infact most fruity strain I have ever smelled. It looks like the plants are done growing and the buds are really starting to swell... I can tell they are really liking the 150 percent nutes. I will probablly slowly raise that untill flush.
Oh and got a chance to smoke some sour cream today and I have to buy some seeds it was such a smooth cerebral high.
Look at my first post on this thread and it goes through my entire set up in detail but I'm using fox farms ocean forest and a 400 watt hps with magnetic ballast for flowering and a 150 watt high compact flouro for vege
Whasts up everyone everything is going extremely well... The plants are beginning to absolutely reak! I think I may need to wash my odor sock to reactivate the carbon soon. Also have a yankee candle going all day but really that is overkill because the carbon filter works extremely well.
Last night I leeched the soil and it was a very long and tedious process... I hate having to do it with a scrog but it is necessary. I ran 12 gallons through each plant and believe me it took hours lol... every time I poured more in I had to use the turkey baster to take it out of the bottom tray. Anyways I always leech the soil in week 2 4 and 6 of flowering to get rid of all the salt build up in the soil. This also gives me the chance to really push the nutes. Next watering I will bump the nutes up to 200 percent and hopefully by week 6 I will be at 250 or even 300 percent. Actually after leeching last night I think I decided to switch to aeroponics or an ebb and flow system next go around. I really cant decide between the two because they both show amazing results but I like the idea of adjusting a res and not having to work under the screen as much.
I am waiting patiently for the lights to come on to take pictures to show to you all so keep posted. My lights dont come back on untill 4:00 pm. Speaking of lights on I have slowly been moving the time they come on till 8am to 8 pm.... I have just elongated the dark period to 12 and a 1/2 hours and have left the light period at 12.
