Well, I don't know if its possible to do it without odor but I can tell you if you invest in a Nova decarboxilator (sp???) and the Magic Butter Machine 2 that you will be able to do it about as odor free as you can, but there is still a pretty good scent.....it is cannabis after all.

I've heard of this thing, it has pretty good reviews but daaaang expensive .

Ya there is always a weed smell .

Yeah they are both not cheap. But when you are in our situation where your landlord lives next to you in the Duplex, you have to do everything you can to keep the smells down to a minimum. I did decarb bud once in the oven and once on my grill (not a bad option for odor control if you don't have a neighbor near by) but the Nova does a much better job with the scent control and the MBM2 does an awesome job making the oil with very little odor.

Like always, there are countless ways to do the same thing.
 
I have the Ardent Nova, and I can vouch for it. Perfect decarb with basically no smell whatsoever. No smell leaks during the process, so the only time there's a smell is when you open it up, and then I find the smell is minimal. Looks at home sitting next to your coffee machine.

It's pricey, but if decarbing without smell is a concern, I highly recommend it. It works exactly as advertised.

I still need to bite the bullet and get the Magical Butter Machine, but now that I have stocked up on seeds it's next on my list. With young kids in the house, I'd just prefer to keep it all as contained and scent free as possible.

Why don't you buy your own small house? Then you are free to do as you wish, and often it is actually cheaper than rent.

I am not sure I can do that here with this being my first grow. The wife is from the bible belt and was married to a cop for 20 years so I have to pick and choose my endeavors. She did seem to perk up when I mentioned making some lotion though. Similar process so I may be able to sneak it in. I have some time to work on it. :)

I use a lot of essence since I started growing :p

So far People sometimes told me it was smelling like essence to bad... I proudly laugh and always say: "welcome to India sir" People laugh and think I am just crazy about essence...

That stuff does not work with partners tough... She Just came by like 15mins ago and was complaining that She rather smells the weed...

I feel ya! My bf hates the smell and pretty much my whole hobby! Lol you saw the hostility in that f u decarb pic. I do it usually while he is at work, by the time he gets home all he smells is roast or stew or...I'd love to see how y'all make lotion, very interested in learning that once I get some CBD plants in the Grow;)

Woops english aint my native language so there might be typo's here and there. Thank you for telling, in the end you wont be able to see the difference ;)

I hope you got Some relaxed times to Yesterday and that today may be great to you.

Cant wait to have my first 420 visitor..
