Newty’s Perpetual Pantry Party & Outdoor Grow Show

Ok I'm on the right path than, thank you for the solid response . I'm gonna keep flushing, right out of the tap ok or does it need to dechlorinate? I always do that so I'm not sure . I'm going to play with my numbers and see if I can lower the ppm and nitrogen, thanks for the tips! I know when I planned it out, that number seemed to be the lowest I could get without skewing the rest, with the stuff I have but I'll double check since I'm a stoner lol thanks again dabbs

Just think Newty, in about 9-10 weeks that little bud will look a lot like this...

IMG_009363.JPG

The highest my PPM's ever got in Coco was the 900 range, in hydro I was up in the 1000-1100 range and both peaks were in the 6-8 week of flower, at the point you are now my PPM's were in the 6-700 range. The only time I flushed to run-off in coco was the week before I switched the lights and of course now in the final.

As long as nothing is turning south on you, just keep doing what you are doing and keep an eye on the growth.

Wowsa!! That's the most beautiful thing I've seen! It's so white... thanks for chiming in so quick! I'm going to get things reset and lowered a bit, than I'll keep chugging along until the end or if I actually see deficiencies.I'm trying to learn to read the plant rather than trying to be in preventive mode -♀️

Sure thing! I'm sure you can rock those high feeds, but it will just need to be watered to a higher runoff and flushed more regularly is all. But don't be fooled...

YOUR PLANTS LOOK GREAT!

It looks like you are about the same as the line I use, the chart is for a gallon and I am using RO water, so if you are using tap, you have to allow for the PPM's that you start with. I end up PH'ing down till I start adding the Bloom Optimizer and the I end up having to bring it up to the 5.8-6.0 area.

Allow your flush water to sit 24 hrs and PH it to 5.8-6.0, you should be fine

Thanks! Where do you get your RO water? Is that just distilled water? Or would bottled water be considered RO? I've seen a tutorial on how to make it but it looked complicated and I'm lazy .

I bought a RO filter unit, It was around $130.00 US, easy to hook up and really works well, its slow, about 1 1/2 hrs to do 5 gal but better than running to walmart and hauling it around. My tap water is over 300 PPM's so I needed one...even the coffee tastes better!

In RDWC I was going through about 40 gal every 10 days an even in Coco I was using 10- 15 gal. a week from end of veg to when I cut down the 3 Kush gals so it made sense to invest in one.

Your girls look amazing Newty! Hope all is Well in newtyville.

Great to hear you are doing good! You made me curious about the gingies lol..

It is pretty late (04:27am) so I should be sleeping :p

I'm making more CBD oil and think it's time to start an edible/recipe thread...Ian, ..when you get a chance can you direct me on how to start that? Would I just start a topic in the lounge? Is there a specific edibles lounge? Or if anyone else knows? I'm just looking around

I made CBD oil with all my plant leaves that I've saved from Ase & Swaggs. Mmmmmm it's good stuff. definitely has a calming body buzz. I gave some to my bf and he says he got high? I told him he's nuts but swears that he felt anxious like he does when he eats more than a bite of gingies. Anyways I'll be testing it on a couple more fresh palettes and report back. I wish I had access to a lab or somewhere I could test how much of what is in what, that could make dosing a breeze...sigh.
Anyway, here's what I did -.
I took about 2 oz of fresh frozen fan leaves and through them in the oven to decarb anything in there. 230 for 45 mins. This also helps dry things out and then I weighed. There is still some water left in the leaves but I bubble that out in the process .

I cover it all up to keep the fumes inside and let the vapours settle back in and cool completely before uncovering

I get the 2.5 cups of coconut oil and 2 teaspoons of sunflower lethicin warmed up in my pot. I use a candy thermometer to make sure the temp is around 200 and steady, then I add the leaves and it foams right up which is totally normal, I wish I would have gotten a pic of the foam this time. It all settles down and I use my hand blender to get everything broken down and mixed up.

I keep it around this temp to let the excess water boil off. That's those lil bubbles you see. I did this for 2 hours then lowered it to 170-190 for an hour and then it's infused.

I strain it through a mesh screen and some cheese cloth and then squish the shit out of it with a potato ricer
