I almost spit my pretzel out when I saw the little guys on rails. The wife asked what was so funny and so I showed her. She doesn't get amused with this hobby but that made her laugh.

I just checked mine and they have a ways to go. I thought they were further along from just looking at them but the microscope didn't tell me the same story. I put the pics in my journal.

Alright Ms Newty.... It's no secret I am old. So are a lot of my friends. The wife has a herniated disc in her back..... etc... I am getting requests for a pain relieving med.

I have been poking around this morning and there seems to be a lot of CBD strains that have come out. These are people that are used to taking opiates for pain so they are used to a somewhat sedated narcotic effect but not over psycho- active.

At what ratio of CBD to THC would be appropriate for this type of effect?

What plants have you used or read about that would be a good match in your opinion?

Also this would be completely turned in oil/capsules so bag appeal and taste are not part of the criteria.

Everyone is seed shopping so not wanting to feel left out I thought this might be the time to add some CBD stuff to the order.

For pain and anti inflammatory properties, 1:1 ratio is known to be great. Also the entourage effect is no joke so make sure to look at terpene profile if they offer that info.

I don't know if you will be blending your oil or growing a strain with a specific CBD:THC ratio, but if you're interested in getting something that is almost pure CBD, Medical Marijuana Group has just come out with a new strain that tops Candida in CBD content with very low THC.

It's called Master Hemp and it claims that "THC production remains extremely low at just 0.3 - 0.5%" which puts it in the hemp category on the low end.

Ok Sam, I know you love Nirvana so I did some research and these are the strains I would choose for the full entourage effect. For a heavy pain relief and probably the most potent THC with high CBD is Aurora Indica, I will be growing mine in March 2019

The next 3 choices are lower THC, high CBD (1:1 that I mentioned should have a very low psychoactive effect as the cbd helps counteract this but treats pain, stress and insomnia) These Nirvana strains would be similar to my CBD OG Kush (you can buy this at Dinafem)

I very much believe full spectrum is what’s needed for medical users and that CBD alone or Hemp based CBD will have little to no effect or relief for chronic pain or higher need users like myself (including opiate users) etc. I will always suggest a lilttle THC with your CBD, this is usually only a hard pill to swallow for new users of cannabis.

CBD is awesome but it’s not the cure all when used alone. THC THC THC!! You don’t need to be Fucked out of your face high but some fuckery is needed, so low thc strains are suggested

Or like Shed suggests, you could grow almost straight CBD like Master Hemp, Candida or this Nirvana strain and mix the oils during infusion or after.

This is the stuff I love to do!! Learn, research and explore! It’s overwhelming out there with all the new strains and info.

When I started researching months ago, there were 60ish different cannibinoids in Marijuana and 100’s of other chemical compounds specific to Cannabis, If you look at the stats today, there are over 130 known cannibinoids specific to cannabis and many more chemical compounds. Knowledge is coming fast and hard every week. #staywoke

I think the entourage effect plays a big role in medicinal cannabis, it's not just CBD and THC but the way everything works that brings relief. Aurora Indica should be an excellent strain for fighting pain.

Do you know the percentages? From the looks of that graph, I’d say it looks 1:1. Usually they will have similar %’s listed like 10% thc and 10%cbd or they will use the word 1:1. I saw some great 1:1 mango strains so it’s likely I’d say
