Newty’s Perpetual Pantry Party & Outdoor Grow Show

Long weekend coming up. I will update then. They need some leaf removal to open up some of the bud sites. This is the boring time of the grow. When you see them everyday it seems like they are treading water.

It's hard to get any pics during the the week when they are in flower. I only have a half hour from when I get home until the lights shut off.

So SweetSue recently managed to speed up flowering finish by going to 11/13 and then down to 10/14 lighting. She said it sped things up a lot in terms of fattening and ripening Maybe that will help... :hmmmm:

I love that smell too:D and the taste! Have you tried smoking a joint with decarbed herb? I highly recommend it. I can’t wait until I can make my first batch of cbd oil. I also cannot wait to smoke cbd bud! Eeeeeeeeee :slide:

Kinda? I’m using Dyna Gro’s Foliage Pro and Protekt, AN Bud candy, GH liquid kool bloom. I was using AN big bud but I ran out so I’m using kool bloom. I have the dry kool bloom and AN overdrive for mid-late flower. Also I plan to flush with molasses for 7 days;) All the commercial growers do it, school recommends it for 14 days and I haven’t given it a shot so why the F not! Sorry #noflush crew lol

Hey Newts, I used molasses outdoors this summer for most of the grow and used more than a gallon on two big girls. They taste super good and buds got pretty developed for the short season here. I'm sold.

It’s funny, the molasses is the one Ase recommendation I never tried, and there’s really no reason why I haven’t tried it other than laziness!

I’m going to start seeds for my next round on New Years Eve, newty - what are the chances you’d be down to start something then too? I think I’ve got Derby on board to grow together at a minimum, and I’ve picked 3 strains but may even expand to 4 if I have a good December health wise.

I’m supposed to be on a break for Jan/Feb :laugh: but I have a couple things I need to keep growing so get back at me!

If anything I can start a journal for you guys:D
 
I'm talking seedlings in coco on New Years Day, harvesting right around 4/20. Current roster... Kosher Kush, Skunk #1, and a special CBDream seed are locked in. If I go with 4, I'm still going back and forth on what it would be... Pink Kush, Heavy Grapefruit, Tangilope, Gorilla Cookies, and Pineapple Express all look like solid options. And I've thought about running LA Confidential again now that I know what I'm doing. LA or Pink and Kosher in the same grow would be Kush heaven...

I def have smoked decarb herb mixed with some herb that was a little to fresh to smoke by itself, it was MAJAH! MMMMMMM great suggestion I can taste it now.

So after every oil session there is always some decarbed herb and oil paste that is left over. Instead of just throwing it all away, I have been collecting it over a year, and this is the potent stuff that is left over in the machine and after I strain it. I have about half a jar now of it and it should be a concentrate by now. Every time I open it to put my left over stuff in, it smells like a decarb bakery of thick concentrate. MMMMM, can't wait to use it in some way. I call it swamp oil now. It must have at least 6 different strains in it by now. Most recently my Candida went in and I shook it all up. Just kinda saving it for something special.

Congrats on your school grades, just proves that Cannabis does not hold you back from achieving.

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to my southern neighbours!

I was up QUITE early today:D

Since I couldn’t sleep, I started watching crime documentaries and eventually (after watching 2) it lead me to want to investigate my own crime. The crime of pua mana ohana sending me the wrong seeds and what the Fuck are they anyways. Definitely not a Sativa dominant strain, thick, bushy and large.

All I really had to go off of is the looks and THIS SMELL! It’s funky, skunky and as soon as I read burnt rubber, I knew that was it! That’s the strange extra smell :laugh:

So after doing considerable investigation work, I’ve come to the conclusion that I am likely growing ‘Hawaiian Trinity’ and I’m not mad about it, I need a good Indica so this turned out to be a blessing! Lol

Hahaha I’m not bad at investigative work, was part of my old job! Lol

I also learned that the terpene responsible for skunk smell is myrcene and myrcene is found in a lot of Kush strains.

I mean this strain could be any old skunky Burnt tire smelling weed but I’d like to think it’s this Hawaiian Trinity! I still don’t trust them but I’ll be emailing them to let them know they should probably hire me to do the seed sorting in Hawaii to avoid future mix ups :D
