Kinda? I’m using Dyna Gro’s Foliage Pro and Protekt, AN Bud candy, GH liquid kool bloom. I was using AN big bud but I ran out so I’m using kool bloom. I have the dry kool bloom and AN overdrive for mid-late flower. Also I plan to flush with molasses for 7 days
All the commercial growers do it, school recommends it for 14 days and I haven’t given it a shot so why the F not! Sorry #noflush crew lolok that sounds like it would work great!

If it’s ok, I have a couple of questions for you - first about the little led lights you have propped up, how long do you think those will work before you have to move them into your tent? So funny, I was just looking at those the other day, it’s cool to see someone who has them! I was also wondering if there is a “best” type of light for each stage? More specifically for veg? I’m thinking about setting up a second tent for veg, so I thought I’d ask my A+ student friend!

There's no way I'll do justice to the awesome review newty posted of my stuff, but I'll try...
I had a busy day at work and some last minute changes which broke me out of my usual routine. I didn't even realize I had mail until my son arrived home with my wife and dropped a package in my lap. I knew this was coming but after a busy day I had no inkling this would land in my lap tonight!
I staved off reinjury while tearing through the several rolls of packing tape and finally got what I was looking for - buds from my bud!
I have to go out of town for a couple of days and don't like sativa in the evening, so I won't get into some of the treats until the weekend... but nothing stopped me from sampling the GG4 tonight!
First impression was the smell. It's really strong. As soon as I got through the vacuum pack it hit me. When I opened and busted the GG4, I could really notice the smell and the crystals on my fingers. Must have been sticky icky icky in flower! I know it was, because newty sent me the pics and I'm sure many of you saw them in this here journal (newty, maybe you could link a pic or two of it?). It smells and feels like it looked!
I did myself up a DobeWan-sized chamber of bud (ie. so much you have to really press the pieces back together to close it up), fired up the vape and went at it. I tend to do 4-5 bags - 2 for the initial high, 2-3 when that is wearing off. I do them at 381-385 so that I remember which bag I'm on, although I usually do the last bag at 390 to ensure I get as much from the terpenes as possible (linalool, which I look for, boils at 388).
Taste wise, I got big taste on both of the first 2 bags. Usually by bag 3 the taste is mostly worn off - we'll see when I go back for more.
The taste was fuel out front, and muffins on the backend. Kind of reminds me of Diesel mixed with Blueberry. The high came on strong after the 2nd bag (I do them back to back) and was strong in the head very quickly. Very sativa-like in that respect.
About 15 minutes later it felt like the high was settling in - the head effects backed off a little and the wave of relaxation went down through my body, from the head down through my chest. The body effects showed fairly quickly but it's most pronounced in my head and neck. Which feels great for my injury.
The other really noticeable effect is the positive feeling. GG really nails the euphoria and newty's is no different.
I have my own GG4 in week 5 of flower now, which means it won't really be ready until February. I am very glad to have newty's to tide me over until I have my own supply. GG4 is a popular strain for a reason - it's killer bud. I wish I could say I'd slowly ration newty's until my own is ready, but the reality is that I'll look for every excuse to turn to it and will have it gone in no time! Thanks newty!

I had a peek at your stuff, excellent grow man. That’s your first? I didn’t get through it all yet but the first thing that came to mind on that NL is that it’s experiencing lockout. I think it was likely over fed from your soil, once a plant overloads on a certain nutrient like calcium for example it will lock out another like phosphorous. Also if a plant experiences toxicity, it will not uptake anything more disabling it almost. The plant thinks it’s starving and starts to eat itself. It’s pretty hard to reverse but you can ride it out. I am in coco and would start flushing with low nutrient water but you are in soil and I have no idea about that? I have had to ride out the lockout with a couple plants. You will still have good weed, just less of it. It’s all a learning curve man! That’s just my thought Haha both good points I will bring to the discussion next week

Yay let’s talk lights! I can only tell you from my experience, because although I completed a whole module on supplemental lighting I’m still just barely grasping it!
Those cheap clip on blurps from amazon are great for germinating, cloning and all the way into early veg. I usually have that LED and a double cfl light in my germination station. To be honest the babies like the cfl better as they get bigger. I believe seedlings and new clones enjoy the blue and red lights of the spectrum. Once they have at least 4 nodes I put them under the big LED lights. You could keep them under the small LEDs if necessary for longer and it wouldn’t hurt them but they wouldn’t grow as quickly. In veg, I program the light to have stronger blue spectrum, I slowly increase the red as they mature. In flower I program the light to back off the blue by 40% and increase the red. Basically, flowering plants need more red and veg need more blue. It’s easy to buy the LED’s with switches to help with this! Marshydro has a good selection and they are a great price! I have 3 of their lights! Haha also they are sold out all over Canada! Lol I coach quite a few peeps out here to start growing and I always get them started with marshydro and vivosun products. You could get a mars 300 or 600 for cheap and that would work in a small tent for veg.

Honestly every single seed I’ve grown from AMS (Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds) has been a giant, vigorous, potent, top quality plant. I’m seeing a fricken great trend. They have mostly house strains and not too many either so I can’t wait to buy more! So far I’ve grown the White Widow Xtrm (my fav smoke) and their Cheese Autos (Dank & Dabbie) (my friends fav smoke)

Even Swaggs asked the other day, what am I doing differently for those 2 to get such killer frames?? I started using the silica properly and adding it first then waiting 5 minutes before mixing other nutrients. Could it be as simple as that? Who knows! I’m happy
