Wow this takes some catching up if I miss a few days 
I’d heard tell of newty’s Videos - that was a ripper
Loved the tour around the garden frost time, I was looking and only spotted one or 2 - nice stealthy plantings 
So playing catch-up means moments pass and it can be weird to pull things forward that happened days ago but here goes..,
So that was about the oil that was making you fall asleep and I would say that yes, if it decarbed ‘too long’, that could account for that. When it decarbs past the THCa to THC conversion point it will start to convert to CBN, the sedative cannabinoid. There are some medicinal approaches that deliberately try to do this for exactly that effect. So you have an excellent sleep med! I’m about to experiment with making some like that myself

I hope this country follows Canada on the legalisation path (or California, but Canada is more likely considering our shared commonwealth colonial political histories). Yay for cannabis employment! Maybe I’ve never had a sativa edible... I’ve been thinking I just didn’t like edibles much, but I’ve never had one that I knew what the strain was and most of the street weed was always indica. You’ve inspired me to try ShedI feel like edibles should be made from sativa so you can have a great time and enjoy the work that went into making them. If you want to sleep, just make capsules from indica and save all the trouble
Exactly this. Hey scrogster, the budwash originators also say that it helps to distribute moisture through the plant so it dries more evenly, and reduces risk of mold. Budwashing is great fun too. Feels fantastic, the weight of the buds in the water... I think ‘heft’ was the word Graytail used. It makes harvest day quite joyful for me - but I get to do it outside, not everyone is so lucky.

Woohoo! Yeah nothing like trim jail for work... no no. I must be more positive! But packaging pre rolls and grams trimming... not all my favorite. But the good news is I'll be working closely with other businesses in the local industry. Shouldn't be hard for me to level up the ranks.

Should be a great line up. I have to delete pics of my bean drops cause the wife goes through my phone cause I take 100000 pics of my adorable daugter per day, and goes omg, starting more plants??? To that I say HELL YEAH HONEY! then back step and say well they wont all sprout and half will be males. Oh and my other favorite "babe, I'm only growing now to make seeds" pshhhh like she even cares why. Shes still mad. But really as long as the smell and plants stay in the bathroom I'm safe lol. #ramblingnow

Thanks! I think I have it down to sour diesel, raspberry cough, amnesia haze, and blue dream. I will probably grow either a girl scout or AK in a DWC bucket in the other tent.

I also appreciate you taking the time to teach a bit here! I am so greatful for my friends and their knowledge. I did not know that the bud wash helped prevent mold as most people think the opposite I’m finding. I agree that it always dries a lot better and crisper looking. I really hope Australia follows suit, I imagine yours and a few other countries will be close behind now

I’ve learned in my last 10 years or so that my reality is strongly influence by my perspective. So now if I don’t like a situation, all I have to do is remove myself or find the positives and change my mind! #takespractise I think your well on your way! I always like to learn the basics of every position where I work. That way you can run your own company or take any position as they come. It’s all about connections and learning. just sharing what I’ve read. #wheninromeI have a lot of idle time compared to most, it’s one advantage to my situation of illness (trying to not call it ‘being unwell’) - so I read a lot on this forum and a lot about making medicinal oils.
I’m glad I finally made it to hang out here every now and then - your journals are legend - and I’m inspired to try some edibles when I have a high sativa leaning plant to harvest. So wild, literally after reading Shed’s post here about it Keif Keith posted almost the same things in my journal - about using sativa oil for pain and for social “lubrication”. Now I just have to find some edibles I can actually eat! Think no sugar (including fruit sugars - except blueberry) no grains (so baking is maybe out)... what could I possibly do? I mean I could eat a cookie once... so long as I never had another one for months, but I’d be looking for something I could have regularly, of course

Oh, and doh! I keep forgetting to ask... that little black oscillating fan in your tent... what brand is that? And how noisy is it? I’m shopping around for a small oscillating fan and finding it hard to find one that isn’t crappy.

Ok Amy, you gots to try a sativa only oil. You could try a sugarless gummy recipe, unfortunately I don’t know one...yet.
Can you eat dark chocolate or is there such a thing as sugar free chocolate chips? Just melt that down with sativa infused coconut oil and you could use silicon molds or chocolate bar molds? That’s a fun way to do edibles? Or you could make sativa infused avocado oil and make capsules or use in tea coffee or iced drinks? I use it in both cold and hot coffee, where as coconut oil you can only use in warm. Lots of ideas The most important part is getting the sativa oil in you I love making oil so I experiment with specific strains or diff parts of the plant. I like to mix it up, helps with tolerance issues too.
