So I'm assuming that this is for the soil organic mix, basically fish fermentation you say..
I haven't tried it but I believe it can get stinky as all hell let loose, but I believe you can use lacto to suppress the horrid odors....
I think mr.Hacks might of mentioned something to do with fish heads chucked at the bottom.
But don't you think we could use another fish or prawns or something cause well goldfish are nice and we make them pets and call them Larry.... I don't know bout you guys but $4.50 for a gold fish, and how many would you need if you were doing like 200 gallons of soil mix...
Oh well I suppose each to their own methods, it will be interesting to see the difference between a goldfish soil mix and I'm just going with a normal fish....lol
Anyway here hows to do it for those who want to try....
Fish and cooking times.....
The fish emulsion is 1 3rd chopped up fish (the whole thing if possible) + 1 3rd good compost + 1 3rd water. Mix in container and close up with a lid (flies love this and can f it up with maggots) let stand for 2 weeks in summer or 4 in winter. Open every few days to vent off gas...hold your breath and be careful to not get any on you or your clothes. Will stink forever, also be careful if you dogs they'll come sniffing.
Cook time I try for a month, the next batch might be shorter but I'm trying to chuck some of those additives like you bought into the worm compost so it gets processed by the worms and microbes.
