Ok it’s been a while since I did one of these pic tutorials.
Gennie’s Jelly bombs
What you need for 1 batch (fills 2 regular sized molds)
• 2 small packs of your favourite jello 85-95g (I mix and match)
• 2 packs of gelatine
• 1/2 to 2/3 cup cold water
• 1/4 cup of canna infused avocado oil (EVOO would work I think although I haven’t tried) I infused extra virgin avocado oil in my MB2
• white corn syrup (2tblsp) or 2 dollops
You don’t need much, this is used to make them more shiny so it’s not absolutely necessary
Turn the stove on low to warm up. Mix the gelatine in COLD water stir and desolve.
Next quickly add the jello packets and stir well to dissolve any chunks. Then add the oil and corn syrup, stir well.
You can now put it on the stove to heat on low while stirring for about 10 minutes. It should be quite liquidy and smooth looking. I used a whisk to stir at first
Take of the heat and let set for 5 mins or so.
Peal off the top skin (I ate mine
)
Now pour into molds and let set for 25 mins in the fridge.
The trick is to do things fast
Also get the skin off and don’t mix it in like I tried to do with the red jelly’s unless you like abstract jellies!
Aaaaand... don’t leave the stove on low under the cookie sheet where the first jellies are resting and walk away for 20 mins!! #hardcandy
