Newty’s Perpetual Pantry Party & Outdoor Grow Show

Newty, I'm so glad that everyone has had your back with your decision to vacate your employment.......:goodjob:

When does summer start or has it already.....???

Newty, newty, newty...... you really are a lady I would love to meet, as looking at your creativity in the kitchen really gels with the inner me, Seriously though is genieve your channel, otherwise I gotta go un-sub pretty darn quick as I really enjoy cooking/confectionary and don't want to follow someone random...

Ok I’m going to try and get in touch with @SeedsMan here.

I got an email reply that says, “we take a picture of our seeds before we send them” next email, “we sent the correct seed” thats it???

ummmmmm no you didn’t or I wouldnt have #sadsack moby Dick plants flowering in my veg tent with the light schedule at 20/4 on day 30! What do I do now?? I paid for fem moby dick which is more expensive than autos and I got autos. Are they going to hermie next?

I tried to email my complaint quietly to get this resolved but that isn’t working so please help me either get a refund or new seeds that are not Auto. Thanks
Well I have dealt with wrong shipments from Seedsman in the past. They might have misunderstood your initial complaint and thought you meant they shipped the wrong seed.

They do take pictures of each batch before it gets shipped out. So they may well have been correct in saying they shipped the correct package. But that doesn't mean that there wasn't a mistake made by the breeder. Maybe readdress the issue from the perspective of, "Yeah I received a bag that said it was what I ordered, but here is a picture of that 'supposed feminized photo plant' throwing pistils at 'x number' of days under 18/6 so perhaps you can further investigate with the breeder to make sure no mislabeling happened.

You gotta understand Newty....right now there are a lot of scrupulous customers that try many different ways to scam these seed banks.

1. "I didn't get my package"
2. "I didn't get what I ordered"
3. "Nothing germinated...."

Now sometimes those complaints might be valid, but for every 1 of those, there are about 10 cases of people trying to get over. Ruth is usually really helpful and good at resolving any issues over there. Just try to explain your issue a bit better and throw in the fact 'you don't want any future customers to potentially get the wrong thing or something labeled incorrectly'.

Just throwing it out there....take it for what its worth. I revisit words my parents instilled into me..."its not what you say, its how you say it". Maybe they just misunderstood your complaint.

Genevieve is me;) My early/short retirement will be effective June 29th! Woooooop

Happy to hear of your early retirement - however short. Be careful it's addictive.

I bet! I’ll get a taste of it and work harder for the next 15- 20 Years so I can really enjoy myself!

She is really good....one of the better people I have dealt with at different seedbanks (assuming you are dealing with Ruth)
Thanks so much Van, I sort of realized this a few days ago so I sent Ellie a new email with pictures, explaining what I meant. I will maybe msg them privately here to see if there is someone I can talk to as I couldn’t find a phone number on the site. I guess I didn’t realize how many people would be scamming them but your right! I really appreciate you breaking it down for me and for the feedback!

Honestly if I’m out 100$ whatever these things 1 & 2 are bouncing back and I really want to try other seed banks anyways, I have my liberty haze so I’m set right now plus I’ve been making trades with people and have so many seeds :D

I have 1 more auto moby dick seed left( I assume its an auto like these 2) she will be the star of my backyard show this summer! 10 gallon pot of soil outside, Quadlined;) that will be my POTM!

Yeah....I guess a couple of the American Seed Banks are out over 20k from customers scamming them. Calling the credit card companies and telling them they never made the order after receiving the seeds. People suck.

But break your situation down, while looking it at from the big picture (understanding what they deal with) and I think you will find seedsman pretty good to deal with. I never dealt with the girl you are dealing with....I always deal with Ruth. She is great. Respectful dialogue goes a long way toward conflict resolution between two parties.

I figured as much but sometimes people get passionate about their money and that can come off the wrong way to the other member of the party that might be looking at things a bit differently. I tend to have a really bad temper when dealing with things that go wrong so I have to make a big effort not to let my emotions take over. Calmer heads always work better for me....though its tough for me to stay level headed.

Haha yes I agree, I can respect you more knowing how you deal with a frustrating situations. We are similar;) This has been really great convo Van! I know it takes a lot of patience and coping to remain calm in certain situations so reps man!
:high-five:

Also, I need money to live and I like it but I’m definitely not going to lose my sanity over it. Money comes and goes, I’m not rich and never have been. I’ve always managed to make things work even while a single mom working and going to university so I guess I just let that stress go a long time ago.

My main reason would be the prices. True North is quite a bit pricier on most strains if I am not mistaken. I used True North for my very first purchase.....great service, fast shippers...pleasant experience overall. If they weren't as pricey, I would have likely stuck with them. But I find Seedsman has the best combo of price and selection with arguably the best freebie deals going.

Valid points. I just hate trying to get shit through customs from certain countries of origin. I am not as concerned with the variety as I am the quality and reliability/stability of the strains that they do carry. That is why I like Nirvana (I know the broken record deal) as a breeder bank. I have to date not had a seed not germinate and when I look at other grows and yields they seem pretty consistent. Ase, Grandpa, Doggie and myself have all had very good results with them. I do have quite the selection of their stuff now though. Then they released a few new ones.. Ugh.

I think what I am saying is that I don't by as many seeds as you people do nor am I overly concerned with lineage. I just want good weed damn it..... LOL

Amen my #weedbrothers!

I hope things work out for you on the employment side in the end. At least you're doing it in summer. :)

As far as banks go why do you not use true north? There are quite a few in europe but why go through importing? Going forward things should go a lot easier when stuff goes legal for you.

I will take a peak at True North, I’ve never heard of them. I’ll pay extra money for good seeds or strains I want.

No doubt about it, I do love seedsmans freebies;)

I tried to go local my first time with BCSeeds but then ended up getting stuff from Amsterdam anyways. I saw a Seedbank at the expo called Native Seed Co. they are based out of Ottawa, anyone heard of them?

I’m definitely getting my hands on some Nirvana genetics at some point, there’s no way I won’t from seeing all the great results here. I actually have a few mystery seeds crossed with Nirvana Wonder Woman. I’m going to grow some outside this summer! Bet you can’t wait for Chaper 4;) lol

Woooop Woop! 420 saaaaaales

Oh yah did I mention I’ll be on hippy hill for 420 in #SanFran to celebrate with all you Cali folks:) How’s the air down there!?
