New ViparSpectra Lights Powering Self Watered SIP Run

Highya SO,

I've been thinking about making trichomes at this stage of the grow. About everything we do in a negative sense causes the trichomes to increase. The plant must think her life is threatened so accelerate the timetable. Such as hurricanes taking down partial plants, a tree falling on another, causing another partial lady. Or Emmy talking about a nail/screw into the plant base, or backbuilding, or droughting, or whatever can fit in there. Makes sense to me, just wanted everyone's input on that. I'm not sure how much the destruction caused trichomes to multiply, or accelerate the timetable, but it seems like it did some. Maybe just more bro science, lol. Happy Smokin'

Carcanopy sticks and a quad. This one would have gone through the roof with that kind of vegging without that! It was my first time and fun! You may like it and or improve it!
Yeah I saw the quad, that’s cool, but I’m more impressed you kept it alive that long in that one container lol. I think sips might be the answer to my Sativa browning problems…

Good morning Bode! Happy growing and Toking! It's almost October growing! Whew! I'm still a week or more away on Cherries D. IKLWA is going deep October!

I'm with you believing some depravation of what they like/need makes them more powerful! I'll stop water when I feel they get ripe enough, if they get ripe enough. :) And there's time!

She'd be in perfect condition if I didn't burn her leaves having the light on at 100% for a day! I foolishly didn't look at PAR and closed the tent. Now there's yellow leaves in the sweet spot. That said, I agree these SIP's can do what you're looking for. I did raise the soil ph for this one because she's so sativa as well. They like soil coming in close to 7 if memory serves. I mentioned a lower number earlier but found 7 to be the number to try for for them.
I'm putting 5 of 8 grains of fast acting dolomite lime in every gallon of water along with 4 ml cal/mag and that's pretty much it.

I’m glad you mentioned ph. I’d thought about it before but had gnats and thought that the brown was root issues due to that. Plus they grow like crazy in veg. So maybe it’s not the heat. I need to quit messing around trying to cut corners and just fix it all by the numbers. Thanks again for saying that, I’d forgotten about Ph. Time to reread Revs book I think.

Yep, sativa's want a little different treatment. His new book is scheduled to come in the next 3 months he says.

You're growing some missiles in there Otter! It's also interesting from a training standpoint how dominant the lower nodes remained and didn't give the inner growth a chance to catch it in the end.
It is! Training went bonkers sometime after flip I think. Those two front plants are polar opposite too! Lefty is convex and righty is concave! Runts/Red Sky genetics on left and Stankberry/Black Poison Skunk on right. Secondary bud growth is stronger in my SIP than my cloth pot grows. I found that on the first one too. Every bud on the plant was worthy.

How is the LC-18 coming along Mr O. Sorry to ask but I'm having mild withdrawals . 😅
I was getting ready to report sir! She's really looking fine! Past full bloom and getting crinkled pistils and getting more pistils still! I think their girth is still expanding and buds are much more solid than I expected! She's right around day 50 from flip here.

Otter, this plant is exquisite.

Hi Carmen! She thrills me to see her grow!
Yeah Carmen nailed. She is exquisite. Wow. Is she smelling yet? Earth or like a minty earth? Else pine?
Thank you Mr O. I'll just whipe the drool off my screen now.
Hehe, :drool:she is having a nice earthy smell now for sure! No mint yet, that'll be nice!
