New ViparSpectra Lights Powering Self Watered SIP Run

She was supposed to be lethargic for two weeks!

SO, what does this mean please?
So that sounds funny to someone unfamiliar with SIPing. I started her in traditional soil and went into a SIP pot. Folks have around a 2 week period where roots get accustomed to the water from below all the time thing. Water roots they say. That happened to me last time.
Yeah I wasn't kidding. These Africans are tough and hardy. Looking really good.
She did it again today!
Cool Deal Thongs !! And the reasoning for the carhook is >>
In a short time this all sativa plant is going to grow almost uncontrollably Smokes. At least stretch is a scary time kind of. I'm keeping these branches horizontal to keep her growing low. I may even hook down some of the branches coming off these branches if I have to to fill some of the lower section of the tent before flip. I'm a rookie at this so we'll see how it goes.

SIP DAY I SAY YAY !

Good day folks! It got busy here at the farm today and all the little ones got planted into their new pots!

Finally we're here! They all sexed beautifully! On July 10th I set the light to 18/6 after a 10 day stint of 12/12, and today is 10 days of that. That's so early! Every plant showed pistils or balls clearly. This sexing works! I think maybe keeping 600 ppfd PAR when I could, may have helped?

I started out getting some @DYNOMYCO into the LOS soil. Something different I did was to layer and push down on the wet feet 3 times. Not too hard but firmly until my fist was a couple of inches from the top.Let's see if that brings roots up higher into the pots.
Then I made a hole. Wet the roots and got some more dynomyco on them and in.
1.6 ltr of water with Real Growers Recharge went around the perimeter of them and also 1.6 ltr of water in the rez.
They got reflective covers this time. I like em.
Auto watering is turned off for now. @Azimuth , with 1.6 ltr in the soil and 1.6 ltr in the rez. do I wait for a week before turning it on? I hear you and others say you don't fill the rez at first. I wonder how you decide timing to fill it?

hehe. I marked the pots but don't remember who's where so I'll have to get back to you later when I make a map. I have such a stoner memory!
Don't worry, be happy. Woooooooh!
Stay lit!

Everyone seems to do it a bit different. I water lightly from the top until they start growing strongly. Then I start giving them only what they will drink in a day or two thru the reservoir.

Once they start crankin' and you need to fill the reservoir every day or two is when I would turn on the auto water, but for me, too wet too early stunts them a bit.

I'm thinking that's a good time to get it going too. Something like that anyway. I'm not top watering these. That will make a little different timing but not much I don't think. 🤔 Thanks Azi!

Thanks SO and lmao. Yup, I haven’t joined the SIP club yet.

Did you figure out where yet.:nervous-guy:

Such cool names for such cool plants. Remind me how many days they've spent above ground?
20 days Carmen. 10 at 12/12 and 10 at 18/6.
Also if you have not already explained, what is otters dream and sky muffin. I mean what crosses did you do? Guessing they are your own?
Otters Dream is Blue Dream CBD with Stankberry pollen. And Sky Muffin is Runtz Muffin with Red Sky from KOS, pollen on it.
Black Poisonberry is Black Poison Skunk x Stankberry and
Northern Stank is Northern Lights x Stankberry
All my own and from @Van Stank 's Stankberry. I'm super excited to see how these grow. I've only grown Otters Dream once before, the rest are surprises!

Ok couple of questions if you dont mind , first what is in the top of the fill tube ? Is your filling automated does it know when reservoir needs filling and when they are full or do you do that manually and what's that red thing that looks like a stick of dynamite ?😁

Highya SO,

Very interesting strains! So you grew Otter's Dream before. It must've been pretty good to grow again! You've had Van Stank's product before. Must've been pretty good. Btw, have you heard from him?
We've had a lot of sunny days in a row!! Yay!! Everything is growing lush, here! Making up for the cool and wet June. I hope it continues! Happy Smokin'

Thank you sir. Keen to see what they do. Have a goodie. Almost time to spark one here ✨
You're a good influence Mr L! I got up and sparked one up on your thought! :thumb:

Ask anything anytime Absorber! I'll try to answer, and if I can't there's almost always someone who can.

Those are how EarthBox controls the auto water height. It turns on and off with the tide below. If I raise them a little I can raise the water level in the rez, or lower it by lowering them. A water line feeds into each of them.
Here's one pulled out.

Hehe, the stick is one way @DYNOMYCO sells their myco. product. I use it to liven my LOS soil as I build my pots and in the hole and on the roots on transplant. It really makes a difference!

Hi Bode! I did and I think the Stankberry male put some real thc into the 8/8 Blue Dream CBD and it probably has some cbd in her too. It helps us when we need some pain meds. Nerve anger and it's related issues. Naw i haven't. I have to touch base with him. What a talented and all around good guy!
Yep! We have some of that coming now! Just in time! Now we're cooking!
Plants look fantastic to be so young , very full ! Full steam ahead 🚜
Onward and upward!!! Thanks Smokes! They look different today but they'll come back!
