You could try holding back on the water and I personally would consider a larger container but you really should ask someone with more knowledge

Oops , I water till it runs out the bottom then feel the weight of the container, then I use that and my finger, if it feels light to me and the top inch or so id feelin dry I water

RHUMP yes water very slow around the edges first then wait water wait some more water takes me about a half and hr. to water 4 plants. then feel the pots when dry there is a big difference.

Rhump you have to water slow when the pots dry out you add water it will run straight threw water slow and stop and repeat a little at a time
then the soil expands and holds the water. Then when you get water coming after a slow water and I only want drips to come out for a couple of mins. then I know it is fully watered. Then make sure you dry out the roots to get oxygen. You have to learn with pot size how much it takes. Also different plants will use different amounts of water. This why I start in small cups then up pot to control the watering. And is true most people over water.

1000 watt double chip led
Full spectrum
Organic soil
Discovered today that ph was 7 so I've added lemon juice to drop ph
I was underwatering at first.....I transplanted 10 girls at my second location and kept 2 here with me. The 10 others are thriving but these two are struggling.
The roots were exposed for less than a minute at transplant because the dirt was so dry.
What to do????

I started in small paper cups, went to red solo cups....they are 28 days old and in 5" pots as of Tuesday. They are nice and moist now and with a ph balanced soil/water mix.

As I said listen to the people that know more, looks to me like your on the right track with equipment though. I am learning something all the time thanks to the great people here. I think you are gonna be ok.

Up pot means you need a bigger pot, lst= low stress training, if I see a term or somthing I dont understand I google it. The answers are there. Utube is a great source as well. Google how to grow pot one day or search it on utube the amount of info out there is infinite
