I recommend SNS 203 for 20 days or so... I am prone to getting bugs, so I run a preventative, SNS 209 on every watering from the very beginning. What can I do to get rid of them
Is it a foliar or does it go in with nutesI recommend SNS 203 for 20 days or so... I am prone to getting bugs, so I run a preventative, SNS 209 on every watering from the very beginning.
Oh trust me I do listen. There is a very small group of people here that I do listen to. Emilya, skunksa, tok n roll, and a couple others. You should have seen my first grow lol. A lot of great advice and help here.I had gnats outdoor this year swarming the cola of one girl. They mostly gathered around just that one, the smallest/weakest.
Nearly impossible to spot them until you’re in the right place, with the right sunlight shining back across the swarm when you don’t know what you are looking for.
This was prior to finding this community and I didn’t have the sns arsenal at my disposal.
Instead I went the google tap direction and sprinkled some DE across the top layer of soil in an attempt to deal with the larvae.
I would listen to Emilya. She is here, trying to help, even if you don’t like what you are reading at the moment
If you start measuring your run off you will probably end up chasing your tail.I just went and got more runoff water come back and I got some of the soil from the plant with all the yellowing leaves and run some water over the soil into a jar and got a pH reading. Using miracle growthen here is just the waterthen this is regular dirt. But I did not find any bugs.
I use the 209 as a drench with the nutes and/or water and the 203 as a foliar. Is it a foliar or does it go in with nutes
You are correct it all started after one dose of calmag, but yes if i am still able going to change that pic. Didn't even notice lolI suggested pH might be the issue because this all started when you began CalMag. I have seen where hydro growers drop their pH for this step. I thought maybe you did this up and down repeatedly. Simple to test for or disclaim, I did mean well. Clearly, Emilya is an expert grower. She has all your answers and more.
You had better take her advice about what to do for your bugs, it is too much for me. I was going to look deeper at your issue but by the time you figure it out you will be WAY past the harvest window if not there already on one plant. I wonder if anyone knows why these plants get all freaky when close to the end of their life span. I read some stuff on it one time but it only confused me.
Now, about that fingerprint post - if the NSA matches your print with that bank job in Atlanta they may find your pot. You should edit that post.
Okay I need to change something. When I say ro water I didn't realize it meant reverse osmosis. When I say ro I'm talking about runoff water from an underground spring. Not sure where you're from or if you have them where you live but we have a lot of underground springs here and they're tapped with a with black pipe to come out and people use it for everything. Cooking, drinking, watering plants etc. So basically my water is pure. I never give the girls tap water or city water.Bug don't bother healthy plants. How did your plants become so unhealthy?
Separate issue: You are using RO water claiming it has a pH of 6.0. RO water is "hungry" and feeds on CO2 that will dramatically change the pH depending on time, tempera..pH is not stable with RO. Try distilled or better yet filtered tap water. RO water has very limited applications. Watering plants and drinking are not the best use. Is your water poisonous? Do you drink it? If I can't use the water I'm moving somewhere with potable water.
I would not take anyones advice without looking at the issue for yourself. Every time I heard the sound of hoof beats coming I am reminded of my friend yelling, "Release the OTTERS!"
I used Fox Farms soils. Ocean Forest (OF) and Happy Frog (HF). OF is more fluffy from peat and HF is more black dirt like with added mycorrhizae and Humic Acid. Phenomenal stuff. I use a bag of each as my base mix.Now some of her leaves are starting to turn brown. I guess I should start thinking about getting her harvested. Tonight is going to be a 36° night so the freezing nights will be here in the next couple weeks. I will just give them a hell of a bath. Going to try different soil next year, any suggestions? Here are some photos.the older one isn't doing as bad.this is the buds from the plant in question
So pretty much all I have to do is get a couple bags of Happy frog and a couple bags of fox farm and some of that super soil concentrate, mix the ball together and water? What does the potting soil usually cost? Where can I find it?I used Fox Farms soils. Ocean Forest (OF) and Happy Frog (HF). Have you ever heard of super soil concentrate? This is pretty much "just add water" from seed to harvest. You layer the soil with the most concentrated nutrient rich stuff at the bottom. Set it and forget it sort of thang. Organic and stress free (maybe).
Cold tonight? You live near me then. Maybe a co-op erative situation??? I thought I recognized that finger print. LOL. Small town. Small world. And I've been pretty small a time or two.
What is the actual draw of those 1000w lights.I need to get a new light now, but not sure what to get since I got this new 4 x 4 tent. I know I'll need one with a 4ft footprint. But I've seen and read where people are using 600 watt lights are using 1000 watt lights and some are using 2 and 3000 watt lights. Right now I have two 1000 watt lights inside the tent but each one of them only has a 2ft footprint. Good thing I only have two plants going right now LOL. This year was a practice run, next year I want to have it down or close to it LOL.
