Beautiful. So I started Low stress training on the bottom branches on “the sin” “Dankberry” and “ Apricot Oreoz”.. I haven’t started any low stress training on Frozen black cherry yet because it’s just a tad bit behind the other 3. Look at what 3 more days can do.. Dankberry has 2 different Phenotypes one grows darker and stocky and the other one a bit taller lighter in color with the taller one needing an extra 10 days for flower.. so the shorter phenotype finishes in 8 week while the taller one 9.5 weeks.. Apricot Oreoz finishes in 9 weeks should get about 6/7 feet tall when finished.. frozen black cherry will grow bushy any will only get around 4 feet tall and will finish around 8-9 weeks.. the sin will get very tall should get 7-8 feet tall and has a finish time of 9-10 week that I’m kinda of stretching out the time being that I’m in mass and when mid to late October comes can get very cold.. I have faith tho .. I can’t wait to test them all.. thanks all
That’s what I do but then I put my pointer finger into the soil to the middle knuckle and it still feels kinda damp.. I might have to see how it goes.. I ended up watering yesterday they look a little droopy so I’m going to give it like 7/8 days until I water it next.. I will pick the pots up to feel how light the pots are.. I also let about 1 inch of run off into the pan under the pots..Hey Konk, I'd water them when I thought they were light. Do you know what they feel like when it's time to water? If so, that's the time I'd wait to water , then water to runoff.
My water opinion. The last watering was on Thursday of last week.. I have noticed that with the root organic soil that the soil stays moister longer.. could that be why they haven’t got much bigger? I’ve been watering ever 3 days. Today I checked the soil and it’s still kinda moist so I’m going to hold off on watering another 2 day to see how it goes.. I do notice tho when I do water ever 3 days they really perk up.. should I keep the 3 day watering? Are the roots getting the oxygen they need even though the soil is still moist and I water every three days? It’s my first time using this soil. Normally I use ocean forest and happy frog I notice with them to soils that three days the soil gets dry. Let me know what you all think.. thanks
Thank you.. I did water them yesterday just to be safe.. at ever watering time each plant gets about a gallon with nutrients where the PPM ARE NOW AT 1000 and Ph at 6.6.. I make sure the bottom of the tray gets filled up then I stop.. I feed ever watering.. never just water.. they are in 5 gallon pots.. they also don’t seem to be having any problems with being root bound.. the one on the back left got more then the others.. thank you tralaMy water opinion.
First I can’t believe how over complicated watering becomes in here. Some all but breastfeed their plants! Small sips around the base of the pot, measuring exact mLs, it’s cray to me. I legit don’t give watering a second thought. I throw a towel over their faces and waterboard em till they gag.
I have said this before in here, tho it’s always ignored lol. Get to know plants. All plants. They play such an important role for life. And I think there is something magical about learning their language and helping them sing. Look at them, really look. On my walks I can see which ones are happy, which are hungry, which are dry.
I will say a dry plant and a full as fuck plant look similar. To understand the difference, the weight of your pot has the answer.
This is what your plants say to me as far as moisture goes.
Me too!Thank you for the info.. it’s much appreciated.. I only wish I could share all the strands with each of you
