New City Grower 3.5 - Our Perpetual Grow - Continued

I believe as long as it has leaves to feed off and enough to feed off while its trying to reveg and root
which will definitely take longer than normal it will
the only reason my attempt failed is there wasn't enough leaves left to feed off it almost started to root and then it died
cause there was nothing to eat while it was trying to do both at the same time
since theres no roots it couldn't uptake nutrients in the normal fashion as when you clone cutting it feeds off the leaves
but since it has to reveg also it takes a lot longer and needs more vegetation to feed off

Wow Reg. Miss a day and you're pages ahead! I'm so impressed by the way you maintain so many different strains. Whew! Congrats on the latest of your never-ending harvests. So looking forward to that mini SCROG.

Hi Bar, I just took 10 clones from plants that were about 4 weeks in flower. Put them under the dome in the veg room and every one of them rooted. Now they're up canned in 1 gallon pots with new growth coming in. I didn't plan it that way, but was in a pinch and did it anyway. No harm done.

I'm not sure you twos understand. I'm not talking about sending it back into veg; just to take a cut & have it continue to grow in bloom under 12/12.

I would say depends how far in your at
it still will be able to root with enough vegetation to feed off
I thought maybe your talking about toward the end of bloom if not as I said as long as it has something to eat while its trying to root

ok BAR, now I get what you are asking....duh! I don't see why it wouldn't root in the flower room, so I would say YES! With much certainty.

No experience, but it seems like yield would be poor since it would be trying to put energy into both ends at once while it winds down its life cycle.

done deal...

Way to answer the question! Best of luck with it, Reg.

Another storm coming through, BAR, covering 20 states......WTF.....Boston poor Boston........I'm not digging this vibe.......

It was like that in my neck of the woods last year....put the fear of God in me, the winter weather did.....I almost died.....you don't fxch with dat!

A little late on this conversation but I now run my Top Leds with both the veg and bloom switch on except when they are tiny babies but once they have any growth on them at all I turn on the bloom switch and it keeps the nodes really tight but it makes them grow much faster than with just the veg light on.... If I was worried about the electricity difference maybe it would be worth not usng them both but i'm not and I have noticed a large difference in growth....:circle-of-love:

Nice looking, but I would suggest experimenting with LSTing or Supercropping for a larger yield from a single plant :cheesygrinsmiley: You won't regret it....LOTS of terminal buds... :cheesygrinsmiley::tokin:
Thanxx guys, I agree but the yield isn't as important as it is to see whether or not it'll work. Since we have the Never Ending Harvest going I have the time to try a few untested experiments.
Hozona, we super-crop, top, & use LST on nearly every plant in these 2lt pots.

Shawnee, Cronic, Jimbo: I'm so done with the cold & snow! You know it's bad when the kids start complaining about too much snow.

Thanxx for chiming in Fifi. The Auto that's under our Top Led 96x3w reflector (the last plant in post# 228) has been doing a little better the last few days which leads me to believe it was just over stressed with all the super-cropping & what not. We'll see what happens. Just to confirm this we've already dropped another auto bean of the same strain that we'll place under the same lamp without training.

So, to give everyone an idea of how these little Soda Pop Pots are working out with this Perpetual Grow of limited real estate (3ft X 1 1/2ft Bloom Tent) I'll give some numbers;
In the last 25 days we've raked in 81.3 grams of dry bud from 5 different strains with 2 more plants left before this fiscal month is up (31 days). That's over 3 zips a month which should be every month.

Not bad for growing in tight quarters.

HEAVY WEIGHT FRUIT PUNCH Day 5

Here is the seedling to be fluxed. You can follow this plant on "Light Addict's Fluxing Central thread".
