What's the deal LB; arthritis, gout?

OK you all, I need some advice. This is what I came home to. After my evening inspection I found a seed in KUMOKO IV, the mutant. As most of you know she's been in the Bloom Tent forever (189 days as of today).
Nothing I've harvested has had seeds nor nanners & I didn't see anything on the other 2 plants that's in there with her. I also checked her for nanners & didn't see any. Should I go ahead & chop her now or do you think whatever went wrong is already done?

Or, I doubt it but it may be something other than a seed. Keep in mind she's a mutant and why would I only find one seed?

Not super surprising to find one of those in that particular specimen...:tokin:

I'd say to consider chopping her real soon and get her real estate opened up to a much finer/better producing plant.

I don't see a whole lot of new white pistils on there so looks like she's coming to a slow and steady halt.

She even made you a seed! Amazing what these plants will do to survive, excellent job tending this girl. I think you need to show a pic of her most "raggety moment" before to show a true comparison. :bravo:

No surprise BAR it happens some times. Dry it and save for later. Yes arthritis and bad back, upper and lower from a car accident in 2008. Had 2 screws and new disc's changed out and still in constant pain.

So you're saying if I let the seed dry out it might be good DaTenshi?

Lester, here's a brief pictorial of some of what she's put me through.

God bless you man. My uncle had Gout real bad & couldn't take the winters anymore. He moved to North Carolina. As a matter of fact my 2nd apt. was the Co-op he left to me, mortgage had been paid off but his daughter sold it while I was still living in it. Family: What are you going to do?

I'll make ya a deal Reg, If you chop Kumiko, Ill cut up Sour D tonight with ya.
:passitleft:
You have a deal & we both re-veg. Shake on it... :high-five:

Great 5 page read, BAR :high-five:

lbudder, I feel your pain from here :passitleft: (get a yard!) your journal will kick some booty, when are you gonna fire it up??:circle-of-love:

My most enjoyable sentence read so far today:

"smell punches through the material and straight into your eyes. As you unzip, your eyes start to water"

precious vernacular :thumb:

Agreed :high-five:

:allgood: HC ReVeg FTW KC :allgood:

P.S. Spimp reserves the right to attempt an outdoor guerrilla reveg, and any other hair-brained fantasy of giant red-weed trees as he see's fit.

If it is mature, yes of course :high-five:
Even if it is green on the outside, there is a chance there to germinate, as long as the inside is good.
I would of left it more on Kumiko until you could see the calyx open a little, and check the color.

How did she end up like this?

IMG_20140330_1503371.jpg

Nah DaTenshi, that's how she looked when I thought she wasn't going to make it. This is how she looked after I came up with my concoction of BROKE AZZ CAL/MAG.

And this is her now awaiting the ax.

How do I store the seed to dry out?

How do I store the seed to dry out?

An envelope or in a paper bag, and placed in a drawer or a dark place. I can't remember for sure, but think it takes like 3-4 weeks to get all humidity out, and after you can put her in the fridge. That's what I did last year, and they are sitting really good in there, if you do store it in fridge before you want to germinate, leave it out for a couple of hours to acclimate.
I think it might take less then that if you plan on germinating it. But if this was "in mother nature" the seed would fall on the ground in late fall, spend the winter there (sub 0) and the warm spring rain germinates it.

Hope you get a lovely mutant baby out of it:Love:

can't help with that question, BAR, IMO, when you get 2 or 3 of the same answers like daT's,:thumb: then you have a good answer.

Humidity w/ seeds stored: what about storage of beans that come from friends or banks?

I'd like to know the best way to store those, too. :thankyou::420: er's

Air-tight container ( like a medicine bottle ), label and straight in the fridge :high-five:
I also like to wrap them in a tissue or toilet paper :laughtwo: before putting them in the container. To prevent air bubbles from forming.
If you got the seed from a friend, then ask the person before how long the seeds dried.
