KERALA X SKUNK #1
(Regular) Day 61

So the decision has been made. Sorry to say it everyone but she's an indoor plant as of today. I almost wanted to cry this morning as I looked out there. She's doing so great & I wanted an outdoor plant from start to finish, but safety is more important than my selfish wants. She's just getting too large & noticeable to stay out on the fire escape. I was going to put some artificial flowers around her in between the leafs,
(still may pick some up on the way home) if not she'll stay in the Bloom Tent.

Pepé Le Pew (Skunk) Day 66

She's a slow grower so I'm leaving her out there.

She's getting a little yellow on some of her fan leafs so tonight I'll probably hit her with a dose of

I apologize for the quality of some of the pics. I was somewhat in a rush this morning.

I hope they weren't too bad.

Thada that, thada that, thadathat's all folks!

Nice update BAR! Love the Fire Escape plants :circle-of-love:

Nurse Betty looks amazing and I am impressed you have turned that mutant plant into something harvestable!

The Wild Thai revegetative growth looks incredibly uniform and healthy! :cheertwo:

Good Job Brotha :thumb:

Nurse Betty is looking good, but I would get rid of the bottom 1/3 of growth, it will be worthless and will allow more energy to be put into top buds.

I hate to break it to you, but if a clone not rooted in 8 weeks it is lost. I have given it to you before but here is my guide to simple cloning...

1. get some of the 1" rockwool cubes.
2. Soak in pH 5.5 water for a few hours-24 hours.
3. To cut clone:
a) pick nice healthy branch
b) cut off branch/branchs 3-4 nodes from top.
c) SLIGHTLY score the edges of the stem to scrap off outer layer of skin(this VERY important IMO)
d) cut steam CLEANLY below branchs that where cut off
e) QUICKLY put in water or cloning gel/solution
f) Swirl around a bit in cloning gel/solution(I use Clonex Gel)
4. Insert clone into hole of rockwool cube, get some actually sticking in rockwool.
5. Spray with RO water, or water that left out to evaporate Chlorine if no RO.
6. Cover with humidity dome.
7. spray down couple times a day
8. after week can remove dome, any clones that are still 'perky' will root within next week, so 1-2 weeks total.

Ever since I was very methodical with this method been like 29/30, one failed cause i did not stick in rockwool far enough.

ok back to work, need to get some coding done :)

Thanxx Cdaddy. I've blogged your post to my notes for future reference when I try to jump back on that stallion of a clone rodeo horse in my bedroom.
On another note I don't remove any growth from plants anymore unless I'm training them in one way or another. From my personal experience I've seen better results without removing growth and letting the plant decide when it doesn't need fan leafs, baby leafs, etc.. My view on this will probably change I as become a more evolved grower but for now I'll stick with what I've seen with my own two eyes.

Lester, I can't wait to get home! I want to go stare at KERALA X SKUNK so bad. I want to put her back outside but she's making me nervous; It takes a lot to do that.

QUICK UPDATE

FLUXY MOMMA (Power Flower, Flux style) Day 132

The growth I left on the slow side during the last trip to the Beauty Parlor helped out. The ends of those arms look much healthier now. So it's back to the Beauty Parlor.

Before

After

IMG_2014070723_3_.jpg

I left a couple of the center new growths to form some arms for the center fill ins. They're not from the main arms but I believe they'll be sufficient.

You've been here in spirit Old Man. I've carried truck loads of good vibes from your journal to here since the first post. Don't even sweat it, I know you can only handle so many journals at once. The important thing is our comraudery.

Your gonna give the girl diabetes...:thedoubletake:....:circle-of-love:

:laughtwo:Didn't I tell you guys?

Oh yes, that! I saw those little ones all spry in their little ghetto pots! So adorably cute. I'm glad you decided to bring the fire escape plants into the apt. My father grew pot on the roof a few times in Bklyn! The days when nobody went up there. Now, you can't do anything on the roof or they clean it off immediately. I wonder what would happen if you planted one of those seedlings in a bed on the High Line! hahaha. I would freak if I ever saw a big ole cannabis plant on the HL! :)

Oh yeah Trix. Now that one of the outdoor Skunks is in the Bloom Tent it's apparent they stink! As soon as I opened my bedroom door this evening the Skunk Funk hit me dead in the face. I'll definitely be picking up some artificial flowers tomorrow, she's going back outside.

Can anyone identify this? Spotted it on one of the STREET GIRLS.

Our second "CANNABIS MYSTERY OF THE WEEK" success.

Thannx for the update Hawk.

Wow Reg, that Kerala is sexy; you couldn't get more attention if you had Kate Upton in a bikini sunning herself out there on the fire escape.

On another note: anyone ever use or hear of use of BudVac Storage Containers? They come with a pump to vac seal the bud in the jar. I've seen these type things for use with regular mason jars also: anybody?
