New CFL Grow

Hey backlip i did exactly what you recommended last night. Except the one plant the roots were so knotted and slimy i took a risk and cut all that crap off. I am gonna probably mix up a half strength batch. They are pretty droopy this morning.

Here's a pic of my plant in the cooler. My approach with these types of pots is ride the side of under watering. Much easier to see when the soil is dry and the plant becomes thirsty to add water as opposed to dry out the soil, in my opinion.

Looking good
To me its silly there is a technique... it's a plant.. you water it when the pot feels light lol. Ok maybe there is a trick to increase something... is it worth the effort or hassle? I measure the amount of water or nutes/water and dump it it all at once. I grow buds like this, documented here.

Agreed...the lifting pot method differs throughout grow, depends on strain...pheno....temps rh so on so forth I've found... but yep she is a plant...this was one my last harvest...bagseed....she was under 1 450w dual spec......186g wet...76g 'I think..its in one my threads' dry.

Holly shit i have never even seen a bud that big.:bravo:

I kinda had the same thought but not sure what i dis wrong. Do you ph your water and check ppm canada guy. Maybe i am over thinking it. But i will say i have learnt a lot in the last two weeks so hopefully i gain better results
Lol, I have seen guys here grow buds that make mine look like a popcorn nug. Honestly I don't check ph or ppm at all. I use tap water, and every second watering I mix in bottled nutes according to the instructions. The lift method for watering is great, but there's more to it. For example my AK 47 just got a very aggressive trim, even though the pot was kind of light I did not water until more growth came in. Overwatering is a real thing. @Backlipslide is accurate that your roots probably sat in water and his solution sounds pretty good too. Just be careful when she starts to droop u will have to water right away. She wont be happy in dry dirt. Overall you might be over thinking.

Shit sorry guys thought i put the pic on. The cause not sure but they just quit taking in water i haven’t watered in close to a week in and around there. Now i am not sure about cutting the crappy roots but. At this point i know root rot is pretty much a toss away plant. So figured i would try it save the nice ones and go from there.
Now im paranoid to water my shit hahahha
