New Bubble Buckets Setup After 3 Years Break

Loving the training my friend, looking cool. The BV I didn't do any journal. As I won though and got lots of interest from people I started my current journal with the Tutt. I'm using the exact same methods except I let her go two extra nodes before topping this time. I'm hoping for at least a 3rd more heads than the BV with this one.

that looks very nice, I must try that next time :) thanks for the info

That's some aggressive training you got going, I'm doing the same in my next grow, gotta keep em short! I use pipe cleaners, but the paperclips look like they work well, good job.

yea I need to push this ak to branch out as much as I can with the 1m/q I have for it, since the widows and second ak clones dodnt make it and the shark been stunt for nearly 4 weeks :) thats what happens going from soil to hydro I suppose, but I have no fem seeds and I always prefer to grow female rather than catching out the balls :)

always been using paper clips, works well for me :)

a little update on both girls today, lets have a look at the shark first, haven't seen her for a while :)

she's growing a good bit below, the bud candy added some bronie suff to her bucket and small amount got on the roots but she's getting a res change in 2 days

not so much above, this is 2 days after stripping, a good few inter-nodes, but very small still

here's the AK 2 days after the last stripping, she's been topped in a don't know how many places :)

can't wait for her to bush up, she should be big in 5 days 7 to 8 days hopefully big enough to flower :)

the bud candy change the colour of the roots a little bit, looks sugary, but the water and bucket are very clean, only thing i dont really know the reason is the ph doesn't move much, very very little slowly rising, like 0.1 to 0.2 up each day for the last 2 days, since i added the bud candy, water level is dropping, not sure about ppm as i haven't got the meter, much borrow that off mucksavage again :)

Holy cow, you got that AK all kinds of tied down and all kinds of tops but still so short. Very nice work man. +reps.
The Shark is just a smaller plant, or maybe just not as easy to LST as the AK. It seems more prone to stress from the LST which has stunted it maybe. Just shooting out ideas. ;)

thanks stealthgrow, yea for some reason this AK just keep bushing up but not stretching at all, raising the lights has no effect at all just making the lower branches shoots up and levels out which makes it even tighter to pull.... which explains all the pulling :) if she doesn't stretch its gonna be hard in flowering.... gonna give her a few more days to maybe a week and see how she looks, I can always tight away the old fan leafs and then stripe all the old fan leafs 3 weeks into flowering to expose the rest to help pack them up :)

the shark has very stunt from the start, if you look at the first few post the AK has continues growth where as the shark looks the same very much for weeks, the LST was started on the AK first, then I was giving it a try on the shark by just pulling the main stem, and its been like that since, with 2 more branches pulled down :) she doesnt gets any bigger yet in size, maybe a few mm :) but certainly has more branches but very micro :) I don't know what she is stunt on, temp is around 28c water temp around 21c she isnt getting nute burn, she has been on full nute 1500ppm for few days, water level went down, ppm no change, ph no change, no idea, all setup same for the AK but she looks 2 months older :)

they both went in the bucket on the 1st Sept, both were rooted in soil, the transplant seemed to have no effect to the AK, she grow as if she hasn't been moved, but the Shark doesn't seems to likes her new home, the widows didnt even make it.... but they were older in soil...

AK is looking tasty. hard to believe the AK cuttings the shark were taking the same day. Goes to show you could spend a lifetime on an individual strain to get the conditions just right or hit it straight away.:bravo:

Thanks, and I am glad they are healthy :)

Looks like the Ak has reached her maturity to produce something nice... I was tucking away the bigger fan leafs to expose the smaller branches.... Not stripping anymore as Im putting her in to 12/12 on Saturday.... But while I was doing that my fingers were getting very sticky from moving the fan leafs... Today I actually see the frost on some of the leafs... But majority of them have trichs..... In veg? I never seen that before... But it's getting more of it and it's very sticky... But she is not flowering yet... no budding, no pistill just trichs, Well the lights on 18/6.... Shark just getting well bushy but has no trichs like the ak
