Neikodog's High Brix Sativas

What is crop king' stated flowering time? These Dutch Passion ones are really done at 8 weeks. I mean I could let them go longer but they are definitely in the window. Remember those A5 x malawi are testers so flowering time could vary quite a bit. If they are malawi dominate they may finish in 10. You could always change it up a bit and run them at your flowering schedule from seed and put 1 in each pot.

Thats about the time I took my Durban from Dutch Passion as well Neiko. I believe it was the 56-60 day range specifically. They were dense as hell too.

DP doesn't have a real DP and they never had it. They had a cut or seed line in Holland in the 80s/90s, but they quickly outcrossed it to Skunk #1 and Northern Lights #5 like they did with all sativas they ever laid their hands on. As I said many times, trusting Dutch seed banks is like buying sand on a desert. I also doubt CKS is offering original line and I could bet $1000 they don't, any takers?

The only genuine DP I saw before it's popped up recently on CannabioGen and Seeds of Africa websites was stocked by Tropical Seeds, but it sold in a week. Google it using query "durban poison tropical seeds", look at the pics on their website and then compare them with what DP offers. It should answer your questions if you know how a landrace sativa looks like.

Thanks for that, I think I'll take it now. It won't take long to pull fans off it and that's about all it'll need for trimming. It just kills me to cut off sugar leaf anyway. I leave all that on for cobbing but even if I didn't I just don't see the point in cutting of tasty sugar leaf. Bag appeal doesn't even make my list for a nice looking bud. I use full bud for my extractions and edibles so I don't see the point of trimming them for looks.

Once I saw the bud development I knew that was not a landrace. I just checked CBG and they only have 2 packs left. They do state it is a landrace that takes 10-12 weeks. At the time I wanted some Durban, Dutch Passion was the only one who had it. They do say it was inbred for may years and was crossed with an unknown indica and it is done in 8.5 weeks. I'll get my paws on some landrace beans eventually. Hopefully this one will be a good sativa buzz anyway, a lot of people seem to like Dutch Passion's version so we'll see.

Sup Neiko, good to see ya around and such.. Hey just wanted to touch base and let you know that even after my sisters dumbass cat taste tested my baby, she doing super well...

....

.... Green days... and to all
Nice Hacker. Cats sure do like cannabis leaves. My cat completely ate a clone I had just brought into the house. I had set it on the kitchen counter for no more than 5 minutes. When I came back it was a stub with my pain in the ass cat licking her paws right next to it.

Good morning Neiko and friends. Thanks for that info Conrad. When they start growing , i will be able to tell just how much Sativa is still in them. Was hoping someone had already grown out some CKS DP's. ...just to get an idea before hand. I am hoping for a longer bloom time with it, so it lines up good with the A5's. that will be right next to the two DP's from CKS. have a great day everyone...another nice one. Yeepa yeepa!

Good morning Neiko and friends!

Hey I have this young Chem Star girl that has some sort of pigmentation issue, but is keeping up with the others. Normally I would cull stuff that looks like this, but I want to run her and see what happens.

You ever get seedlings that look like this?

Here’s a normal sister for reference

Magic Jim had a Jack Herer that had coloration issues like that. Last I saw her was growing it out, but I didn't see how it turned out. I'd run it to finish personally.

The pigment - It's Variegated leafs. Something many original Chemdog genetics have. The ChemD most proflifically. The 91 also has the V-trait in certain cuts, there may be a divide there, of have and have not. Mg is a huge help. Dose heavy once with epsom, and it will help the leafs green up. Nice looking girl - the pigmented one is the one to watch and smoke as it's most likely a Chem leaner.

thanks caretaker for the info. Chem Star is a Top Dawg cross of the
Chem D x Star dawg, so you’re right on with the lineage. I knew something special was a possibility with her. I also a few weeks ago recognized that they were salt lovers, like my OG, leaves were slightly thin and papery, loss of turgor. So hit all of them with 2 tbsp of Epsoms each...slapped them back awake in 1 week. Now I need to stay on top of it, as once you get behind on a mg def, it’s hard to catch up. Thanks bud!:Namaste:

I would be getting some cuttings going of this girl just in case.

I took cuttings of all of them before I sent them into flower, just in case.;)

As I ruffled each of them the pigmented one has a sharp acrid fuel scent already...have to give her extra care!

Thanks for sharing your journal Neiko!

Have a great day folks!
