Need some advice on my lights

Yeah the 600w hps lights are great, i pull 20+oz every 4x4 run so you should have no problem at all creating 10+oz from 2 plants ever run, you could even turn it down to 450 and still collect 10+ .

Am still confused as to how does wattage directlytranslates to yields any help on that ? like I understand that more light means more flower but to what extent?

The 320 xl kit is perfect in my 2x4 vivosun, although I use it for veg, it could easily put out some great flowers. In the pic, I have it dialed all the way down, so my camera would work correctly. It's seriously bright, and ALOT cooler than HID. If anything, supplement your current light with the QB "strip" they have.

It's 450 for that particular kit, but if you piece a similar design together, you could do it cheaper. I'm just too impatient to do that! Ha! @Edzzed has a cool set up he did with "strips" that's a great diy.

Thanks, I am actually pretty impressed and surprised that the strips are doing so well for the plants. I hope it carries through to full on flower. For the last two weeks, I had the lights at the top of the tent and since I lowered them about 15 inches the growth has been WOW. Keep in mind, I have all of 21 days growing experience. This is a learning thing for me. You are free to copy my design. Let me know what you need. Ed

You need more than supplemental light. You need 2.5 times the light you have.

Hey ed the girls are coming along real nice man great job, are you considering any lst or are you going to let them do they’re thing? I’ll post some pics tonight am also getting rapid growth since going into pre flower.

Omega 600w dimable ballast light kit then pick up a cheap cool tube then over time once you have got a little more expenses to play with just keep adding on to it, i run a 600w MH bulb it cost me £20/$30 and its lasted nearly 2 and half years which is great, my other bulbs i maybe buy once every year (just to keep ontop of).

Here’s a quick update on the girls they seem to be doing well except I think I might have some mites on some of the pics of the smaller pheno you can see some bite marks. Any input on this guys ?

I used a 600w HPS in a 4x4

Problem with a 2x4 is two fold
Probably only 5' tall so limits yer growth of a plant
Long and narrow so ends may not get the light needed

I'd look at QB lights, or Quantum Boards, all I use now

dude I'm asking for a bit of advice.... got a sf1000 spider farmer led... what is the minimum grow space a can use with this do u know
