Need a second opinion on this matter - This is my first ever grow and I need help!

GH floral trio work great in coco.
Start with a turkey baster as a watering tool.
Feed the outside edges of the cup to get the roots to chase nutrients.
Try and get just a little coming out the bottom to get the tap root chasing it.
Keep your coco moist at all times.
But always with nutrients.
Low ppm’s at first 400 ish at 5.8 ph.
Be religious about the ph it’s important.
Gradually up the ppm to match the GH schedule week by week and you will be ok.
I have several threads on coco and what to do for best growth and health.
Heavens Shore’s has the most pictorials.
How are the girls this morning?

Stay safe

Many Thanks 🙏 my girls are looking good. The leggy one can stand straight on her own, without support. Hopefully nothing too bad will impact future yields

Oh yeah ! Man . I thought that you shouldn’t give any nutes at this early stage. I guess that my plan needs to change now.
Do not confuse coco coir mix with a natural dirt mix. Some of the natural dirt mixes are built or mixed together with soil amendments used for a maximum growth rate and might be to strong for plants in the seedling stage.

It used to be that what was called a 'soil mix' was one that contained a good amount of 'dirt' mixed in and a 'coco mix' had no dirt and would not be called a soil mix. Each could be used to start a seed and grow a plant from seedling to maturity.

Then people started calling any mix that a plant could be grown in a 'soil' or 'potting soil mix'. This is happening in any kind of gardening store whether a grow shop, hydroponics shop or a general all purpose gardening center/shop. The problem is that while they are calling different sorts of mix a soil they do not mention or even know the differences between any of them.

Any advice on feeding in the coco ?
I am using products from General Hydroponic
Follow the advice from @Bill284 about feeding every day and keeping the soil mix "moist" which is different than keeping it "soaking wet".

Many fertilizers will have directions for use based on the age or stage of the plant. This can be found on the bottles or bags. Go to the company's web site and look for information on the product you are going to use. See if there is more about how to use a particular fertilizer. Look for tips on using the product that might be mentioned the web site.

300µmol is great light for that plant. Congrats—most growers don't give their seedlings that much light. (refer to my signature block for my not-so-humble opinion).

I commonly have seedlings grow like that and I use a toothpick and some green twistem to support them.

Re. uneven color - it could be a feeding issue or it could be that it's a young plant developing the ability to process fertilizer.

Re. when to feed - the purpose of the cotyledons is to provide nutrients for the seedling until the first true leaves form. After that, it's up to the grower.

Re. 300µmol - below are the light values from my current grow. Assuming a good grow environment, there's no particular reason to not grow cannabis at these types of light levels.

Yea I absolutely agree with the higher light exposure levels for cannabis. If those grow room parameters are good and consistent you would be astonished at how much light they can take and how fast they can grow. Took me a long time to see that cannabis has 3 different growth modes a general none perfect condition growth rate(slower steady growth), horrid conditions growth rate(not growing or actively dying) and yet another perfect conditions growth rate(growing very quickly and looking for more). I also noticed that once a cannabis mother develops bark the growth rate pretty much doubles even if grow conditions don't change and light stays the same. These barky mothers could take Soo much light,I thought something broke lmao.......I am also only referring to soil grows but I can't imagine coco grows are not much different.....I'm not ready for, hydro,Dwc or even cocoa lol

Thanks for reaching out my man !yeah man. I’m in coco. And i use the trio flora series from General Hydroponic + Cal-Mag. She stopped stretching for 2 days and she’s developing bigger leaves. But she can’t stand up straight so i used the wooden spoon this her little support. I don’t know if the picture clear enough to see but she has little bit of burnt tip on her leaves. And the colour looks darker green in the centre and pale around edges of the leaves!
If your in coco I suggest 1 gram Epsom Salts, a long with the cal/mag. Coco is known for a mag hog.
