N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

Was checking on the Gz and after 2 feedings of mega crop I think I need to bump my feed up. I'm noticing some lighter green leaves and some yellowing on the edges of the leaves. I have been going in at 5.5 g per 4 liters thinking I should raise it to 6 g per 4 liters or 6.5 g per 4 liters you guys have any thoughts?

I never jump a full point. I'd go from 5.5 to 6.0 grams.
 
Could be a P or K deficiency. See if it spreads after you up the MC strength.

Hey N. how are ya bud? I noticed that you're mixing the MegaCrop into 4ltrs of water rather than 1 gallon. It may seem picky but it might be why the plants look like they need some more food as 4ltrs is a little more than a gallon. If I'm talking crap I'm sure @MrSauga will chime in. It was just an observation. Plants are looking good though N. Nice and frosty looking OS nugs as well

No you're bang on, but I'll chime in anyways. It's the difference between say 5g and 5.3g. There's a lot of food in that there .3g that the girls will love. Good observation Professor!

Hey prof it's always good to see you buddy. I'm having kind of a shit weekend honestly. My hot water tank blew yesterday morning so I've been without hot water since then. The hot water tank is under my stairs and the only way to get to it is though an access panel in my garage which is also the space my grow tents are in. I have a work bench screwed to the wall the access panel is on so today I have to remove the bench and clear a spot for a plumber to come fix it. As it's Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend I can't seem to find a plumber to come out it's been a pain in the ass.

I think you are right as far as the mega crop mix I think 1 gallon is 3.78 liters I use a large watering can for my feeds which I think is 4 liters but not entirely sure as I have never actually checked that it is 4 liters. Good catch buddy I hope you are having a good weekend.

Thanks for the reply Mr. S I have not had a chance to feed them a stronger mix yet as I'm waiting for the Gz to get dry enough for a watering. I'm hoping today they will be ready for one and I'm going to mix up 6g/4l I think that will get me to what those ladies are asking for.

You have been a huge help prof you have given me some good advice and I have learned alot following your journal I appreciate it buddy.
 
I finally got ahold of a plumber but because it's a long weekend they want to charge $200 an hour! So they will come out on Tuesday which is the first business day after the weekend. Looks like I'm going over to the mother in laws to have a shower today after I'm done ripping my garage apart.

Sorry about your plumbing woes N4! That's one of the worst things to have on a long weekend.

As for the MC, really the most important part is to measure whether you are using liters or gallons. Personally I mark 4L on a container with a marker and hit it every time. Then I use the calculator to work out the grams at 4L and the stage I am at. I adjust up or down accordingly.

Thats a good suggestion Mr.S I will find something to get me exactly 4 liters maybe a milk jug so I can finally figure out how many liters I'm actually watering with.

Excellent N4, but let me clarify. I would measure out 4L of water with a measuring cup and mark that amount on any container. I use a 1L measuring cup and when I have 4L in there I mark it so I know. Again, a 4L milk jug could hold more based on airspace from the milkman. Hopefully that made a little more sense.

Yes that makes sense I was going use a measuring cup to get the exact amount and put it in the watering can I use to see where it is filled to.

I do mine slightly differently. I have a 5ltr water bottle with a gallon marked on the side. I then mix up a gallon worth of MegaCrop and put it into a 10ltr watering can. Then I do a second mix that I also add to the can. After they're both mixed and in the can I do a ph check and adjust from there.

Thanks Mrs. V! We have a dinner to go to tonight at a friend's house then are having the mom in law over tomorrow night. By the end of the weekend we will be so full of Turkey we won't know what to do with ourselves lol.

That's a good idea I have been eyeing up a juice jug we have that is marked out up to 2 liters was thinking I could use that to determine my amount of water and maybe mix the mega crop in it then pour it into my watering can.

I toss a ham in just to remain sane. We end up going to 3 or 4 places. It gets super old.
We smoke our turkey in a Weber grill. Yummy.
Now I want turkey.

Bad weekend for your water heater to go out. Sorry, bud.
