Thanks Gdb! I got them pretty packed in there, so far they are playing nicely and and not crowding each other to much! The trellis has worked well so far to keep them separated so they aren’t fighting for light! Will probably be adding a second layer of trellis in the next couple of weeks to give them support as the buds get bigger, the stems on these ones are no where near as robust as the quadline stems from the last grow but they have also had a lot less time to build up the stems before I flipped them.Absolute awesomeness, @N420!

Hey Everyone!
Got a quick Veg tent update today. Right now I have 2 Gorilla Zkittles #3 clones, which was the pheno I really wanted to keep but was unsuccessful cloning them on my second attempt, thankfully the friend I gave the first Gz#3 clones to cloned them himself and gave me a couple!
They are a bit tall and lanky lol.The plan is to top them and clean them up a bit in the next few days as I’m giving them a couple to recover after a transplant this past weekend. The long term plan is to flower one of them out with some new genetics ( details below) and keep one as a mother, at least that’s the plan at the moment.
I also have 4 Gorilla Zkittles #2 clones that have all rooted and will be going to a friends house to be grown outside. They are just getting going with some new growth and will be going to their new home by the end of the week!
Now it’s time to introduce the new genetics I’m adding to the lineup!
It’s In House Genetics Velvet Skies!
I gotta say I’m absolutely pumped to be running these! In House is a breeder I’ve always wanted to run but the price always kept me away, they had a sale on 420 so I jumped on these, still not the cheapest but cheaper then I’ve seen them before. In House tends to have pretty limited runs of their genetics which keeps the prices pretty high and can be hard to come by as well.
These are a cross of Slurricane #7 and Twisted Velvet, I’m not to familiar with Twisted Velvet and searching online you can’t find much info on it other then it’s has the potential for dense purple buds but the real reason I’m excited about these is the Slurricane #7 cross! It is one of their most well known and sought after strains because of the insane amount of frost this strain can produce.
Got a pic I found showing a couple of buds, if I get even half of the frost they show in the pic I’ll be absolutely thrilled.
I soaked 3 beans yesterday and this morning after 18 hrs they went into the paper towels! Hopefully by tonight or tomorrow morning they will be ready to be planted and I can officially start my first run of In House Genetics!!

It's good to have friends that are good! They look healthy and ready for the shortening.
Not sure how big they'll have a chance to get before they have to come down, but with four of them it should be a nice harvest either way.
@Dutchman1990 loved his Slurricanes, and his pretty much always looked like that picture.

My thoughts exactly!
I’m not to sure how it will work out either, I did suggest that planting a couple of auto seeds would probably be better so they will finish in time but he really wanted the clones. Our weather here really turns around the end of September and it’s not really conducive to outdoor growing without a green house to get them to finish on time. I think he just wants to have a bit of fun and isn’t too concerned with the end result.
I remember those and they were beautiful! I’m following In House on another social media platform and quite a few of their strains really bring it in the frost department!
Looking great @N420. Nicely packed, and hope that they're adapting well to the light adjustment.

Beautiful lush tent N and corals on the new beans. That might be the most frostiest buds I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see

While I’ve got you here I thought I would post a couple of pics of my Velvet Sky plants a few days before I chopped them at the beginning of December. It was a pretty good run other then dealing with thrips in flower
I decided not to spray and just let them be, had quite a few damaged leaves because of them and I’m sure it hurt the yield a bit but I got them over the finish line and was pretty happy with the results.The upper fans went a very pretty purple colour as well as some of the buds, overall very visually pleasing plant to grow and can’t wait to grow them out again.

Ya the thrips were a pain but the girls persevered, I’m pretty sure they came from a small bag of pro mix I bought from somewhere I normally don’t because I didn’t want a big bale and my go to place only sells the big bales… next time I’ll just get the big one lol.Dang sorry to hear about the thrips! Thanks Shed! These were definitely one of the prettiest strains I have grown to date and certainly didn’t disappoint in the frost department! I grew 3 Velvet Skies plants and one Gorilla Zkittles on the last run. That will be the last Gz I grow for a while it was the last clone I had of her and decided to let the strain go, I had done a few runs of her back to back and it was time for a change.From the looks of those beauties I don't think the thrips hurt you a bit. As far as grow plans for the upcoming year I haven’t decided what I’m going to do. It’s either going to be Velvet Skies again or some Fast Buds auto seeds that I have kicking around from a couple of years ago. I wasn’t to overly impressed with the Fast Buds plants from before but that was in Dwc and I think it will be much easier to run them in Pro Mix instead.
That being said not sure when I’ll start something new, got a pretty good haul from the last run , just shy of 1.5 lbs so I’m stocked up at the moment lol. I’ll be lurking around the site a bit and popping in here and there. I’ll be sure to share what I got growing on when I figure out what I’m doing lol.

Thanks so much Gg! Good to see you buddy! Ya I was pretty happy with those girls, it was my first grow with In House Genetics. There beans are kinda pricey which is what kept me from trying them but I’m glad I finally pulled the trigger on some of their gear.

We had a good holiday, some very excited kids at my place don’t think anyone got much sleep from the 23rd to the 26th with kiddos constantly getting up to make sure they didn’t miss Santa lol. Other then that pretty quiet which I was quite fine with! Got a bit of snow on Christmas Day here which is pretty rare where I live so it was a nice surprise!
Thanks for the compliment on the colours! I’ll give the strain most of the credit for that one lol. I’ve been popping in here and there, probably gonna get another grow underway shortly so should have a bit more interesting things going on with this journal soon.
Haha, I think that was reason #420 why I never had kids... god bless them.
