Mystic Blue First Grow!

Yh I'm following Emilya's guide to watering and it's working super!
It's an autoflower so I'm not gunna top but I have started low stress training by bending 90° about a week ago now so I have around 9 colas starting to take affect it's just very cramped for space at the moment as you can see one very pushy girl.
The light is a 300w mars hydro LED
Just recently dropped it to 19" away from her and she is loving life!

Another bit of LST today, counting 9 tops (possible colas coming up from her. This is week 5 I believe maybe she's a little behind other types of faster growing genetics. Crazy to think she will be flowing in another couple of weeks!

Still having trouble with one leaf turning brown at the ends at a time but very healthy at the top and new growth is also healthy.

Still having trouble with one leaf turning brown at the ends at a time but very healthy at the top and new growth is also healthy.
This is the result of a magnesium deficiency that was recognized and dealt with and no longer is taking out new regions of that leaf or any others. The problem is no longer progressing, and although it will never heal, seeing the healthy green coming in behind the damage is a very good sign... it is your canary in the gold mine telling you that you have done a
:goodjob:

Seeing all the tops coming out im hoping for a good! Crop!
Just gotta hope it doesn't flower before the 21st I'm on holiday that week!

Thanks again Emilya! Wouldn't have gotten this far without you!

Come home today and she is smelling a little more rich than normal and now she is growing about an inch a day :).

Can someone tell me am I entering pre flowering or has she started to flower cos she is still small or can you guesstimate when she will from the photos?

Yes. Your good. That's what they look like. In another week or so you'll see flowers. Maybe sooner.
Here's some better photos. I'm really hoping she isn't flowering yet!

Not at all more the better! She is so small though with LST only 6" tall if she was standing straight double that. Fun I'm pulling me hair out haha!

Ok so nutes..... keep with the grow or switch to flower?

That's the start of flowering. Around day 21 or so is not out of the question for autos to start kicking it into flower mode. With that Mars 300, you'll want to drop her down to about 12 inches here in a couple days since she's starting to flower. Since she'll likely stretch around an inch a day, you'll be moving the light up almost daily to maintain that 12 inch gap.

Awesome dude cheers for the advice. I'm using biobizz nutes. Start with the bloom and top max and drop the bio grow?

Sorry, you kinda caught me at an inopportune time. I'm not real familiar with your growing medium or nute line and I'm on my way to bed. Been up 20 hours and I'm many cocktails in. Not really in research mode at the moment. I'm kind of an odd one to ask for nute advice (although I have plenty). I have a method to my madness, but am a contrarian to the majority of growers. I don't believe in the standard "bloom nutes" (low N, high P) and only make slight adjustments to my basic recipe when I hit bloom. So I basically run grow nutes from start to finish and just add an extra source of K in bloom.

Update time!
So she has grown a good few inches since last time im still yet to switch to flowering nutes and I'm real glad I help off! She's still not that big only measuring around 30cm on the tallest node. I will wait until Emilyb gives me the verdict of when to switch and start getting the budding nutrients in there!

I also found a 200w cfl from a old grow attempt many years ago it's a dual range so should help and will be going in Wednesday.

Does everything look ok guys?

Emilyb what you reckon??

Awesome will do! I was thinking she was a little phosphorous deficient?

Also when feeding the bloom and topmax do I still continue to add grow nutrients?

what does your nutrient system recommend? I am a firm believer in following the directions. I suggest finding a feeding chart (not on the bottles) for your nutes and follow it to the letter. Also, one leaf detached from the plant tells me very little about the deficiency... if this is a lower leaf, I suspect magnesium more than anything... but we just dont know from one lone leaf without seeing its position on the plant.

Ooops sorry it was the lower leaf. As before its not affecting any new growth. I will check the biobizz advice but tbh I'm not too sure on there advice as it seems they advice way too much but I will do some homework :)
