Mylar?!

Hello. I was curious about a few things.
1 diamond pressed mylar? Ever heard of it? is it good?
2. I need something local that has a heat shield property to it. You know for fly overs and I really hate to order anything that has to do with hydroponics over the net. I was curious about the mylar with bubble wrap inside of it, it's used for heating and ventilation, they got it al lowes. As well Home Depot have little 18' poles with padding that can be used as well. has anyone tried any of these?

Roman,
I'm using the mylar with the bubble wrap inside right now. Definite has insulating qualities, but I'm not quite sure how effective it would act as a 'heat shield'.

Never heard of diamond pressed mylar, but found out this after a quick search,
"- Diamond pressed for increased light diffusion and easier handling
- 50% more reflective than standard black & white sheeting
- Flame Retardant with Total Blackout
- EMP Guard"
Also seems to be about 4 to 5 times the cost of good ol' mylar.

Hope this helps!
