lived a man
who sailed the seas

Funny thing I have never even stepped foot on a ship... and went all over the world :cheesygrinsmiley:... I have to continue the story or better yet tell it to Jandre and he can boil it down to a couple of sentences :cheesygrinsmiley:

Cant use those seeds Because it already flower and 15 % chance hermi seeds

I think I know what you mean but those seeds ar something else

Coco

Coco is too much work for me.

For those that use coco successfully my hat is off to you. It is a medium that requires the utmost attention... there is hope for me as you will read.

I have tried a run with coco. It does work with the way I feed (kind of), the plants are beautiful and it is cheaper.

but

watering is a challenge for me yet I don't have an automated system because of the way I grow. Keeping coco "just right" is an f'ing bitch by hand! and you better be "on it" cause it dries out quick. I harvest and move a plant in to bud so it needs its own nutrients on its own cycle, I also run wildly different strains so the times they change nutrients varies too. I usually have at least three types of feeds going in the bloom room. This is why a central feeding system would not work for me.

On to nutrients... coco has zip so you have to add everything. My style of feeding actually works here because I monitor each lady and change nutrients to suit her... even with my feeding routine I had to add a few more goodies as I saw the need, you can't forget the "little things" that your plant usually gets from soil.

Ok I could

Change the way I grow and feed :cheesygrinsmiley:

I like the freedom of changing strains for many reasons so I can't ever see myself doing "a grow" which would solve most or all of my problems with coco. A nice watering system, jack them all with nutes when needed... sweet. Thanks to you and our awesome vendors I may be able to reach a compromise.

I have though about high brix methods but the preparation requires space with the right conditions year round and for me would greatly benefit from something akin to a cement mixer.

I got some interesting nutrients to try from the challenge. BPN sent me a two part system. I wonder if this will work well with my strains, if it does I could have a baby watering system and a lady watering system and rotate plants out at will. If this happens I will be able to use coco too, why not? Just up the cycle a bit. < that last sentence makes me wonder if there really is a cost savings.

Anyhow for me, for now it is back to Happy Frog :cheesygrinsmiley:

good morning and good weed to you Buck, I still have mixed feelings with the BPN. it is easy to use but I never had problems with FF which I used before. rekon its a good product though. so good luck with it. and you just talked me out of coco:)

I have yet to try it. You are almost talking me out of it :cheesygrinsmiley: It is a new learning cycle for me and I will no doubt f up a lot of plants before I get it right. Normal feeding with LED will likely fry them. I have a hard time changing...

PS you are using FF? that is why you get nute lockouts at the end... try happy frog

well this time around I used the BPN.
the nute problems I believe were caused by the 2046..well me but after some investigation on that strain which I should have read 3 months ago. I read that it doesn't like much of anything once in flower. the indicas were quite happy with the bpn. just not sure it works as well as the FF
ah got to learn sometime

Wish I could get Happy Frog. I have never even wanted to try coco.

All of my "more sativa" strains had problems with FF... I have also lowered all suggested feeding amounts. Any time I change anything it is a new learning curve :cheesygrinsmiley:

I wonder how you folks feel... I got pissed and wrote here

'The War On Drugs Is A Failure'

only to get stomped on.

I totally understand ANY system has flaws, duh

However

If the folks here at 420 will not back MMJ who will?

wow not sure what to say after reading the thread. rekon good one Buck

There shouldn't be a "system" it should just be legal...period:)

I totally agree, for ALL uses. Our state is about to make history... I hope.

until then progress has been made and is actually helping me, it should be taken seriously.

I guess I had something to say, Jon laid it out, it should be legal...

OMM

you are one PC guy :cheesygrinsmiley:, a compliment

I just think he copy and pasted that from somewhere off the web
and didnt read it. Cause there is no fn truth there. I could go off on a rant from hell there
but im gonna keep my mouth shut for now.

First off it is ok to say anything you want in my journal as long as it does not hurt others. Second I think you are safe to speak your mind as this is about cannabis... well there is more (look at the f'ing source, eesh), save that part for another forum but speak about cannabis here if you wish.

Thank you Bill... who is wild :cheesygrinsmiley:

Actually you are too Buckshot. I consider you a real friend.

Thank You OMM, That is nice to say. I also consider you a real friend and inspiration.

Buckshot first things first. I would never say anything bad about the weed warriors
on this forum. I know first hand how and why weed is medicine.
I cant stand the people who say its not medicine and not moral.
I live in a state where there are no law makers that give a fat rats
ass about freedom and living sorta pain free.
Unless it comes from big pharma. I see people daily that would benifit
from having legal medicine and not that shit big pharm crams down our throats.
