After I signed and there was no turning back, I told my father. He paused a long pause then asked “Are you in the officer candidate program?” he being an ex-Army officer knew full well I would not qualify without college... prick. So I calmly said “You can't do that without college, I am an enlisted man” He took a long pull off his drink and said “Good luck son” and gave me a sarcastic toast gesture.

Yeah, you may be thinking my old man was an asshole but I put him through a lot and I just told him I was not going to fulfill his dreams for me... I have much respect for my father.

Finally my orders came, Orlando Florida, boot camp.

The storm that just passed put a hurt on me. I will get back with it soon... can't hold up the cam With a long lens and extension tubes it is a heavy rig and not balanced well (for an f'ed up person). I have no room for a tripod. I have to go and find one of my hiking sticks for both a cane and a mono pod but since it is not adjustable it might just piss me off I hope the little ladies are OK I have to check today. I did check the big girls, I need to harvest and move things. I kept moving and started to clear the outside garden. Took the straw off. The strawberries, garlic and rhubarb are already going and I will plant peas today. Can't wait to have a few ladies out there but I have to make improvements in the fence and a few weeks have to pass.

Pain relief

I was saying above that this storm put a hurt on me. This is when I would normally rely on a stronger prescription. Last night I decided I have to take something stronger for sleep. Smoking does the trick to get you to sleep but has no lasting effect. I thought about eating a cookie or three but they upset my stomach, then remembered the tincture. This tincture stuff is new to me. I have been brewing it to replace smoking and I have it strong enough that a few drops under the tongue will give a fairly fast effect and lasts longer like a cookie. I hardly reduced the last batch and it still has alcohol in it so I decided F three drops and I took 3 SHOTS! The first two I shot and the last I sipped and kept each sip under my tongue for a while... F'ing sweet relief! Just as effective or better than many prescription drugs I have taken, sleep came easy . When I woke up I felt so good I sat and got some work done and forgot I was hurt (I do that a lot) and got up "quick" ugh... well it did work and I will use it again like that.

Glad it worked for you! Haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like where I may have to go with MMJ just because the smoking thing needs to be reduced to two or three puffs a day.

I have "episodes" ... this one is pretty bad, most of the time when it is bad I am "Mr. Shuffles" but today when I could not zipper my pants without help (no ploy just pain) I had to ask for the canes. Glad I got a lot of work done yesterday!!! God help me, I might have to get the ganja widow to help.

Sorry to hear that Buddy. Thought something along those lines. Sucks. I do a little shuffling too, but nothing like you're going through. OoooooKay, I think that would be like asking Jo to help me. Just doesn't happen if it's about growing. Good Luck!

Two Bombs went off at the finish line of the marathon. 3 killed, but many lost limbs and were hurt badly. They found 2 more bombs that did not explode.
