I thought it was like that too, too dense and so on. Not so. I got rot before the buds have closed in on each other and some right on the top of a cola. I am cutting out the offending areas in hopes I can save the bulk of it. a few weeks will tell...
 
retraction -- I have been saying I am vegging on approx 150 watts with the new Top LED panel I am testing. It has been pointed out to me that as usual I am wrong. The ganja widow points this out to me daily. In this case I read the numbers backwards. I am vegging at 252 watts and when I eventually turn on the bloom LEDs it will add an additional 132 watts for the panel total of 384 watts

I think that is what it is going to take!! The only reason I am not totally freaking out is this is my first real attempt to grow outside. I really did not count on it at all. This is not to say I am not totally bummed out. If I were to get a decent harvest I could spend time inside breeding or concentrating on special plants and I was kind of looking forward to that. It may still happen. I will go out every day now on bud rot watch hopefully vigilance will pay off

What a bummer Buckshot & I've got a few plants back in the corners of my greenhouse that aren't getting much light during the days doing the same thing & what I was expecting with the Grape Apes which are indica dominant. It just a few flowers but enough to annoy me!
What strain ya running outdoors if you don't mind me asking? Next year if going at it again am sticking to my sativa strains since they get good air flow throughout the flowers which aren't quite so dense. I wish you the best sir and hope you pull in some come harvest! ~Peace~:ganjamon:
 
Have you tried a spray with baking soda yet? couple Tbs in a gallon of water and misted on the infected areas.

I am running two hash bud plants and two on the sativa side a haze and a haze x si that shows very sativa side. The problem is we have a short bud season so it is a catch 22 the short fatties may get rot but the tall thin ones may not go all the way!! :cheesygrinsmiley: did you see the f'ing huge plant in the POTM contest? holy f'ing colas!!! :cheesygrinsmiley: Well I am not gonna stress I talked to the folks at the grow store today and they said it is not just me it is everyone... just poor weather.

Yeah I saw that humongous tree catfish entered and had me thinking twice about mine being his is twice as big not to mention round & has me wondering what kind of nutes he's using and when he actually planted them ladies. He's a couple counties up from me so maybe I'll find out personally someday.
And yeap, mold comes with most any outdoor grow from what I've seen unless having some serious ventilation going on which cost a buck or two running fans all day and have to weigh one against the other where I stay. It's actually been a really good grow season here with no rain whatsoever and not many overcast days & just hope it stays that way until I'm done harvesting.:wood:

Nope... I won't put anything on my buds so they get cut and buried. Gone I may start to harvest now and just cut down the hash bud plants. This is sucking but hey there are still lots of buds and if I can only get a stretch of decent weather well...
 
you can also use a weak milk mix as well but not sure on dose

Anyone else eat sweet leaf like spinach? If you can stand or like me like spinach try this.

It takes about 3-5 minutes

take 2-3 tablespoons of butter and get it melting on mid heat in a small fry pan, stir in 1/2-3/4 cup fresh or fresh frozen sweet leaf and popcorn bud. I like to hit it with a little garlic powder and pepper but you can flavor it with anything you like on spinach stir till limp about 3-5 minutes. Then eat it all nice, fresh and hot, yum. Now kick back and relax. In about 10-20 minutes turn it up by smoking or vaping some of your favorite bud
