Sorry it's been a while, Buckshot, but holy cow I see nothing has changed. Perfect looking plants and photos abound in this journal!! :thumb:

Hey Xlr8, no problem!! Glad to have you stop in. Thanks but I am having a couple of heart breakers at the moment :cheesygrinsmiley:... better plants soon!!!!

This is my second start for a journal the first got pulled because I linked to my blog instead of posting into the thread ... you live and learn. So, fresh start.

I am a medical cannabis patient. I was put off by the high prices and low availability and decided to grow my own. It has been more of a challenge than I thought but on the other hand growing has been far more beneficial medically than I thought it would be.

The surprising part for me was the benefit that simply growing can provide. What I mean by that is the physical challenge (for me) and the peace of mind I feel when working with my plants is just incredible. I attribute at least half of the benefit I achieve from cannabis is from the growing.

I am not big on typing so most of my posts will be mostly images but I will give detail when I can of everything I am doing

Here are my current residents of the bud room with more detail in subsequent posts

These are two sgirl/com#1 50/50 plants that I hope will go male They have been grown 12/12 for speed to flower to cross with SGirl for 75/25

(S Girl is a hash bud plant and comm.#1 is a fast growing indica. I only had one seed grow from old seed and I am attempting to square her)

This is a local plant ... I hope it is the skunk I seek

This is S2-2 girl (second generation of clones, I have no mother and am cloning clones)

Two shots of a lemony local (this one went hermie early on but I decided to keep it for seed)

And last but not least Super Snowdawg (rare to get seed, our lady of cannabis has been very good to me)

I watch my plants close as you know. These two have lost steam, leaves getting thin yellow and dead. The bud you see should be double that size and this early on it should still be green with no weird leaf curl. I just looked back at that picture and I see what you folks do... juicy candy but I look again and see a damaged plant. I even knew how ff grow causes lock outs and was very careful but it still got me. When my plants are at their peak they hold their fan leaves high and are strong... these are drooping, thinning and falling off. I know you like Foxfarm and that is cool... I have not found the proper ratios for indoor LED growing. I had contacted them for help and they shut me down. I had most of it figured out, hell if I kept going I probably could have shown them what to to!!! Even though I had the money invested I stopped using it and had really great success with Dyna-gro Foliage pro... I mean like night and day. I ran out of that and decided I was now "shmaht" and could puzzle out the proportions, denied :cheesygrinsmiley: I chucked em'

OK

Killed the outside blue dream, did not find the critter.
Found an outbreak of pm in the baby room cause they are all crammed in. Blasted with SNS fungicide.
The seedlings are not affected, yet.
The outdoor girls are in the stretch :cheesygrinsmiley:, I will feed them today, maybe.
I just got "high" again for the first time in a long while. I had a bud of haze x SI (hash bud plant x commercial indica) that I had grown out a while back.
I finally got some Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro. My local store was out and my favorite sales person told me they don't carry it. What? they had ten bottles last month, they are already gone... would you not restock? I got "the last" bottle sent up from Portland. I have asked two other folks to stock it. I will go wherever I have to get it.
Just replaced the fans... and fought more pm
Gonna feed the outdoor girls
Gonna feed the babies...

Gonna crash out :cheesygrinsmiley:... maybe

Done... forgot to mention the coolest thing, when I killed the blue dream and broke its branches it reeked of MINT!!! :cheesygrinsmiley: Mojito Mint to be exact. I don't mean a hint of mint, I mean reeked!!! This is going to be cool...mint :cheesygrinsmiley:

Happy Toking Tuesday BUCK:high-five:!!! And I Imagine It Would Be Much Harder To Learn The Ratios For An Indoor Crop Buck. Because Outside, I Can Make My Mixtures Ridiculously Strong, With No Threat Of Burning:partyboy:!!! But That Is The Beauty Of Growing Outside!!! I Use 7 TBSP Per 5 Gallon Container Of Grow Big, And The Plants Just EAT IT UP:clap:!!! Take Care All!!! SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN:thumb:!!!

Minty fresh goodness. I read your earlier post about how half the benefits achieved is from the growing part of the cannabis. I love when I see something I can relate to.... you sir just made my night. thank you. :thanks::Namaste:

Thank you. So many folks could benefit, it's sad. When I planted the mint I had hoped I might get a "hint" of mint :cheesygrinsmiley:

You say Mojito Senor music to my ears:peace::bravo::high-five::circle-of-love:

I have been trying the BPN 2 part outside and they have been doing great. They also have composted cow manure in the hole. I never "burned" with grow. In fact the plants looked great, at first, then towards the end the lockouts set in. I think if I had planned an Epsom flush as part of the grow it might have worked. Why have to plan to correct? I think they put too much money into graphics and none into research of growing cannabis. I should have used it on the corn... next year as it is in the compost :cheesygrinsmiley:

heartbreak of PM

usually my big girls are not affected but this is one of the two that are already not healthy,

This one will be pulled tonight

Damn That Sucks Buck.
Oh well Happy Weednesday:)

Morning folks

I was so tired yesterday I fell asleep after dinner at 6, woke up at 8 and thought it was 3am :cheesygrinsmiley: I am rested today but the f'ed up thing is I will have to pay for days in pain for the luxury of 5+ hours of sleep (no canes though!!). I was unable to chop and check last night so I went down this morning to check. The pm has been held where it is thanks to SNS fungicide in the baby room. I will not treat budding plants. I had removed the leaves I found it on and I did not spot anymore today. We have had great RH for a week but it will spike into the 70's for the next few days so I have to cut the haze tonight for sure and keep a close eye on the PM. PM is systemic so vigilance will pay off. I also have to transplant and clone in a big way. The outdoor girls are about to get a couple days of rain that they need. I have not watered them once unless you count feedings as we have had a good season and they are in the ground not pots!! That is big for me as I would have to treat the water 8 ph :yikes: then apply. I have my eye on a watering system but this is how I feel about it, I need the manual labor. I consider it a workout and as most of you know IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even though the ganja widow considers it "fun" :cheesygrinsmiley: I may go down and get some bud snaps.
:peace:

Hey Buckshot, be careful about that "work" you have to do. I really didn't like it when you were using two canes. I just know it hurts you like hell. Jo kinda thinks it's fun too, but sometimes it makes us suffer.

Hell, we do it for the buds and pain relief, in the first place....guess we'll continue to bite the bullet and do it. Crap!

Hey OMM

Weird thing is I can hump a 85 lbs outboard boat motor up a hill (just did that) but reaching for a box of Kleenex can wipe me out for two weeks!!!
