Thanks buddy, I appreciate that coming from you. Seeing as you and Rider were really my final push to try out dwc in the first place. Let me ask you while you're here, do you have a strain that you noticed did particularly well in dwc or maybe a favorite that you would do again in a heartbeat?

Thanks Van, youve been a huge part of my success in growing. Youve given great advice and youve been there behinds the scenes. I had and still have a lot to learn, along with all of your help, Im gonna keep blowing this place up every month.

Hey, about 30 days away from Stank soil making it's debut out here. That ought to give enough time for the new amendments that you and I discussed to be able to have an effect on the base. Super excited about them as well, couple that with a couple of dwc buckets and I think I've got a recipe for Success here.

Jackalope has been gracious enough to hand me quite a vast quantity of seeds...... all part of a vastly unbalanced trade, lol. Can't wait to try out some of these bad boys.

On a different note, I was just at Chiropractic and spoke to her about a referral that she just received from her own doctor to a CBD Clinic. She is being referred to the CBD Clinic due to her Crohn's disease. Very interesting how it's starting to hit the mainstream here.
 
Interesting. I was watching a Youtube podcast of the Joe Rogan Experience (highly recommend checking him out...hugely entertaining) and they were talking about a new change to the testing in the UFC. Cannabis was illegal for athletes to use until recently and they are now allowing the fighters to use CBD all the time. Used to be they would test for it at any given point leading up to the fights and up to the testing immediately after the fight. Now they aren't even going to test for it and will allow the fighters to use it as they choose.

Times are changing my friend, they are changing quickly.
 
Yeah, that's a pretty huge mainstream acceptance right there..... Kudos to Joe Rogan for accepting it in such a large multimillion-dollar industry.
 
So for last night's update, it wasn't so much about me fussing with the plants as suchh, moreso it was about me turning off the lights and taking some photos of the girls as they are going to get chopped within the next few days. Looks like my two Crown Royal Will Survive potentially until next weekend as they are showing cloudy, but not quite the Amber that I was looking for. Here are a couple of shots of my Crown Royal as of last night.

On a happy side note....my friend @Kingjoe83 has followed through and sent me some amazing nugs from his recent haedband harvest. Wow Joe, these look amazing, he certainly didn't have to do that....... Although I understand why. Great job on these, they look absolutely fantastic and I cannot wait to try a new one.

I'm still getting my head around all of the strains/seeds that @Jackalope has sent me. What I thought wss pretty much a set lineup for the next little bit has been turned upside down.....in a good way. Correction, in a great way!!! Good problem to have lol.......kinda funny too because the last time I selected seeds I thought to myself "huh, almost through trying all of these in my collection. What's next!?"

Meh just returning the love brotha . I just smoked a curly bud and taste is t much yet but damn high was way better then moes and you got a Larry cola so save that ken for a bit but everything else should be smokable at this point . I’m going to stores and stop burping for a week or two soon. Got 1/2 oz of critical kush off weed bay to hold me over plus some bubba kush hash and shatters yummy . Then when they run out I’ll dip my toes back into headband I’m thinking .

Hope you enjoy it let me know how it works for headache relief too.

I've grown Critical Kush, Purple Kush, White Widow, Strawberry Kush, Mama Thai x Thai Stick, G-13 and Pineapple Chunk x Thai Stick in hydro and they all grew really well. My favorite was the White Widow which yielded about 5.5 ounces per plant, not because it grew better than the rest, just because I preferred the 24% THC buzz from it.

I just started another grow of 4 White Widows. My next grow after the White Widow will likely be Royal Queen Seeds, GorillaGlue #4, which I've never grown but after seeing how @Grandpa Tokin did with his, I have to try it. RQS advertises it at near 30% THC.
 
So took down 3 of my girls yesterday. I took down my two White cookies and my Alpha Dog. Here are some of the results. The numbers from the dwc are almost comical. Please also.....my first harvest from the space......im working on volume next, the quality is certainly there.

Not a big haul, but typically a small plant for me. My girlfriend loves this smoke. She's on the right......at 114 grams.
Next was my white cookies in the soil. Again, I have not grown this one before so I'm not sure if it's typical size but when you compare it to her hydro sister..... the potential is certainly there. Obviously she is on the left, her total was 149 grams.

Followed by my DWC white cookies which came in at a whopping 387 grams, I say whopping because that is by far and away the heaviest plant I've ever grown.

My buddy KCCO77 says, "that rootball, aint no joke", lol. I have to agree, and also I think it's not a bad inaugural "dip of the toes" into dwc for me. Definitely a sign of things to come. One thing I've definitely noticed about the buckets, is that I can correct a problem that I noticed within a day. Unlike my soil, where you have to wait for results. @Scrogdawg , what usually happens to the used net pot now, toss it or cut the plant out of it and reuse it? Reuse would be nice, means I can put an ATF in hydro as of today.....also, why do you think that my system with the pump works so well, do you think there is any advantage to the top feed system? My buddy KCCO77 was wondering how my plants even survived LOL? I had no idea that his system is a little bit different than mine, the one that he had started using before he started to create his own Central res system.

@Van Stank, 6 of my ATF clones are going into veg today if all goes well. Should I be worried about the mixing of my already Salt rich clone solo cups, with the Stank soil? I didn't want to plant my clones directly into Stank soil because I figured it might be too hot for their young roots. Not to mention that my soil had not cooked for long enough.

All of our Easter festivities were yesterday so that frees up today quite a bit.

Wait til you see my Canuk seeds Blueberry.......WOW, with half of flower left to go. She's a winner for sure. Luckily I took a few clones off her quite early.

If you are planting clones, you should be able to go straight into the Stank Soil. Keep in mind, clones are mature plants compared to seedlings and don't generally have the sensitivity issues with hotter soils that seedlings have. I think you should be fine going directly in there.

You could also experiment since you have 6 plants. Run 3 in straight Stank Soil and run 3 in a mixed of Stank and a base soil. That way you will know what works best going forward. Always take any chance to experiment if you got it and its not overly dangerous.
 
Excellent harvest Guy. Good job buddy.

I take a utility knife and extend the blade out and cut the roots flush with the outside of the pot then turn it upside down in a bucket to catch the hydroton and remove the plant. Wash up the pot and rinse the hydroton and your ready to go again. I replace the hydroton every second grow, just my preference.
