My new grow space

Here is the latest work-around for uploading from phones:

- You can use Google Chrome (our recommended browser) from your smartphone/mobile device, the web view option

- You can use a laptop or a PC as well

All these options allow photo uploads. We are continuing to work on the fix for the app and appreciate your patience

It's not hard. Just takes more time and many more steps. I gave in yesterday and just did the web version thing cuz I just couldn't help not posting pics.

Funny what we take for granted eh....until it's not there.....how would you know lol.

How's everyone ones days going today? Me, it feels like I've finally just now had the opportunity to sit down..... Actually, that is true I have just had the opportunity to sit down. LOL. We have a ritual Saturdays and Sundays of taking the dogs for a nice long walk, this morning we had the added bonus of gorgeous snowfall happening while we were out. It snowed pretty much all day here, probably got close to 5 or 6 in. After that, grocery shopping for a couple of hours, followed by picking up the snowblower that I had put into repair unknowingly two weeks ago that we were going to have a storm. All in all, not a bad deal. $70 to get it running and I found it at the end of somebody's driveway LOL. It's a Toro, the guy said the thing will last forever. After that, made dinner, spent a couple of hours in the grow room finalizing moving everything in and organizing. Meanest my metal cabinet from the inside grow room outside, and finally got an opportunity to unpack everything from boxes that I had kicking around. Wish I could post photos but we'll save that as a surprise LOL.

I got the opportunity to upsize my six girls in veg. Van, I did get three or four great shots through my loupe for you to take a look at. Although nothing wrong with two beautiful ATF plants in veg LOL.

Dwc white cookies is continuing to flourish and I can see the beginnings of pistols on all of my flowering girls. Brought some snow into the grow room today in knows we've got plenty of it!.

My girls in the horizontal tent up high, they are doing amazing. My 6 seedlings have definitely outgrown the Dome, it won't be long before they need some grow nutrients to fill those Sonos with roots. All of my clones have Roots, definitely looking forward to putting some of them in soil and potentially trying another hydro bucket with a viable starter this time. Might be interesting to try my vigorous Crown Royal clone next?

Anyway, time to check out some other journals for a couple of hours..... Everybody have a great night.

Hi Guy

Just checking in after appreciating your thoughtful posts to my first time grow problems.

I haven't had a chance to look through all of this impressive journey you have here, but I will, and look forward to following and learning a lot along the way.

Also I always wondered what Guy Cavallero got up to after SCTV and glad to see he ended up in something productive.:thumb:

If only Johnny LaRue was lurking around here somewhere.. crane shot..

That's pretty solid, thanks for stopping by. Just figured I would try to lend a watchful eye.

Just had the opportunity to spend the past few hours in the grow room after spending the morning with my girlfriend and the dogs. Things are looking fantastic, I wish I could post pictures but my white cookies..... she continues to outperform my expectations in the hydro bucket in flower. These things are starting to smell fantastic already.

Moving over to the cloning tent, I've got at least 8 out of my 10 clones showing signs of roots which is fantastic. I gave my 6 seedlings in the cloning 10 their first thought of superlite nutrients today.

In Veg, I also had the opportunity to get to my two ATF plants (male or not) and do a major defoliation and likely final LST before we have the opportunity to finally sex them. (God I hope that both of them are females LOL.) Also cruising right along but gaining steam at the same time are my six joining my ATF's in the veg . The blueberry, my 3 kushy Kush and my two CBDream have gone absolutely crazy in there.
Pics will be following by soon as able......

Also got my hydro bill for the inaugural month of lights on. $45 for a winter month isn't too bad at all. Even my girl thought it would be more. All that planning and precaution has paid off.

Happy to hear that everything is going great Guy... I want to see pics! (yes I know you can't right now bc of the app problem) but still... I wanna see pics!

And for now if we talk just about looks( wen you harvest I will ask a diff question ;) ) wich one of your 2 crown royal do you think looks better? hydro or soil? I'm asking because a friend offered me his hydro setup and up until recently I did not like the idea of hydro but being on this forum is kind of changing my opinion about hydro

How many watts are you running out there that equated to that amount?

I told you man that white cookies can preform buddy my first time was three zips and only second grow wasn't in coco eithier. Man so happy for ya buddy

I don't have a kill a watt so I can't give a definitive answer. I can however summarize what's plugged in out there and has been since the beginning of January if you guys remember.......

2 - Intense gro 800's LED
1 - Rohl 600 LED
1 - 400 W HID
2 - 12" fans
2 - 4" inline fans (1 with filter)
1 - 2 bank 4' CFL
1 - hydro pump

Wish I had that to help.....ill find one sooner or later. FYI if you are in Canada, Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Lowes no longer sell them.

My Crown Royal are both growing in soil, my white cookies are the ones that I am doing the experiment with. One in Hydro, One in soil. Not sure if my phenotype in Hydro is better than the one in soil or not but and has gone absolutely crazy and is four times the size of my soil plant at this point. She definitely has broader, more complete Indica leaves versus my soil specimen which has much more of a sativa leaning leaf.

I also have to say that although I am not really a big fan of carrying buckets of water from my house out to my grow room regularly like this, the use of the dwc over the soil is making itself very obvious. Next year, when it warms up I will definitely be putting running water into my grow room so this may become a thing of the past if I continue to move forward with some Hydro buckets.

I'm still working on cooking my stank soil at this point....... I will never abandon soil.

Oh Okay good to know... I was planing to get 2 tents like you told me one for veg and one for flower and start my first 4 plants veg in soil and then wen I moved them in Flower to start another grow but with 4 in hydro buckets to be able to experiment the difference of both grow medium... But yeah I will never abandon soil, I just want to test both soil and hydro...

Oh nice so you went to get your soil in Brantford or you still working on that?

Still working on it. I've spoken with Stank and he's made it obvious to me that my base soil isn't all that important as long as what I'm using isn't hot with any nutrients. More than anything, all of the Amendments that I have collected over the past 4 months are what's going to make the difference and also have been combined to form the basis of Van stanks soil. I need a couple of things still like Alfalfa and oyster shell flour. I'm 95% there lol.

well if you are not planing on getting a 100% organic grow I'm guessing that the base soil isn't all that important... makes seance :thumb:
