My Mystery Indica Reveg

Sad that its like that greenman but at the same time you have some older generations who think they cant learn anything from a young person. Which is totally untrue..even if you only learn what not to do from the younger generation you still learned something at least. Im stuck in the middle lol. Im getting older but still feel young. It does however seem like common sense aint to common now a days

I completely agree, Canno. I've been away from serious growing since the 90s and I've seen so many advances since then with cannabis cultivation and I'm happy to take this new knowledge and incorporate it into my experience. We can all learn from each other.

subbed in mate, all caught up :) your girl is looking great, what an amazing story about how you found her, thats awesome :thumb: Some very good info about the PH Down, i had issues with my PH early on in my grows with major fluctuations, turns out Flairform used a citric acid in theirs and would only stay buffered for a couple of hours before breaking down (seems to me like would work better in soil), switched to a decent brand and has been happy days since :)

Cheers Feral.
:welcome:
I reckon had I known about the vinegar earlier she would be at least a week or two ahead of where she is. But that is what it is all about.

Thanks mate, yeah i had quite a few issues till i sorted it out, funny thing is i went through that stuff like it was water so i bought a 1l of the good stuff, filled up my 250ml flairform bottle and would be lucky to have used about 50ml in the last year  also went from checking my res every few hours to maybe once a week, you live and learn, its all in good fun :)

Just finished doing some tucking and even with some squares still with 3 or four branches within them, there are now 43 vacant squares of the 100 available in the screen.

It's now 6 days and 4 pages without any pics so I guess it must be about time to take some more - I'll give her an hour or so to recover from the tucking. What will be apparent in the photos is that the screen appears to be filling up in some areas and not others and there is a very good reason for that. I noticed the apparent uneven distribution in the screen so moved the reservoir and pot back a few inches and to the left a bit. Thus the front of the screen doesn't look to be any fuller than it was last week. I still think my 3 inch squares are a bit too large and will modify them for the next grow.

The little clones can be seen poking their heads up from the pot and I have to admit I am surprised how well they are doing considering my total lack of care and attention to the best practices for cloning.

I still have it sitting at 24 inches, but will definitely lower it once the pistils start making an appearance and I am acutely aware of having to find the sweet spot as she will definitely be spilling over the edges of the screen and filling all the available space.

The above pics really don't do the light justice as it looks a lot darker in places than it actually is.

I understand that the movement associated with a fan helps in the production of lignin to help strengthen the cellular walls in the branches, but I have to confess that I have previously barely used it as I believe the LST and HST I have been administering has served the same purpose. However, with the bloom light now switched on, along with the resultant temperature increase, there has also been an increase in the humidity levels and moisture was collecting on the leaf surfaces, especially where they overlapped. So I now have a fan running fairly vigorously over her the entire period during her daylight cycle.

I had always intended to switch the fan on once she went into bloom to aid in supporting the buds, but this higher humidity level has necessitated its immediate use to avoid fungal issues. I think I'm also going to have to start venting it asap as well.

On that note, I found a small 4 inch fan lying around and wondered how I would be able to set it up. Thanks to 420, I found the perfect solution. I have a collection of various phone chargers here and I'm just going to simply splice that onto the fan and voila. However, that lead will not be long enough so I'll have to also splice in some electrical cable.
