Been a couple days. So I opted to only take a couple of the lowest leaves hanging in the hydroton. All the others that were in the way have been either tucked or tied back some how. All leads have been pulled down flat...using paper clips to clip to lid edge. Putting a little pull on the main. Pretty happy still. Had a little yellowing, mostly new growth, looked like iron def? However, found pH low, 5.2. Changed nutrient solution, going to start transition supplements. I also let the water level drop to 3 gallons from 4. Give a little air gap. Solid root growth. If any of this screams no, holler! Thanks for poppin in! J

Whats up everyone, been a few days. Not updating as often as Id like but thatll change. Starting to see pistils at all points. Think im done trying down anything. Will continue with very light defol as needed to keep points exposed. Backed off the N a little, was showing a little toxicity. 5.8 pH, 1100ppm. Solid root mass. Probably going thru 48 oz or so of solution a day, seems like a lot? Steady conditions at 75F/45RH. Adjusted RH down a touch for flower. Shes almost 2 feet tall and wide. Now 18 inches from light, probably going to have to start raising soon. Cheers!

This girl is getting big. Wish i had a 4x4 instead of 2x4 haha. Not really, i like the 2x4 footprint. Did some very light defol/prune to eliminate the wispy bottom growth that has no chance, and get them off the tent walls. Starting to see single pistils all over the place. Still has a bit of dome shape, but not as bad. Thinking i should have topped at week 3. Autos are a trip! Its been hard to resist the temptation of heavy training. Believe next grow ill push the limits a little more, see what i can get away with. Cheers

She does. Seems like a really solid light. Very bright. Ive switched on the whites for full spectrum. Adds 6-10 degrees into low to mid 80's, so I made adjustments to AC intake to offset the increase.

Day 38

Still transitioning, but she seems close. Less new leaf growth from the tips. Hard to keep this girl contained, a 2x4 tent is just a little narrow. Its mainly just fan leaves against the wall. Did a nutrient solution change. Following the week 3 transition on the Botanincare pro. Added Hydroplex for bloom. This plant likes N on the lower side, no more than half strength. Seems like shes drinking almost a half a gallon a day with lights fully cranked. Is that a lot? Really anxious to see just how much shes gonna bud. Quality takes time. I think im under-estimating lol i hope

Day 58 germ/16 flower
Been a crazy couple weeks. So I clearly underestimated this queen in the best way lol. It takes up the full 4x2 footprint and stands 32" from the hydroton. It finally stopped stretching a few days ago. I had to make some new cable hangers for the light to raise it higher. Grew to within 12 inches from the tops. Started week 3 of flower on Botanicare Pro schedule. Running 1100 ppm, 5.8 pH. Been changing solution every Thursday since day 1. Top off as needed with pH adjusted RO, with a lil CalMag added. Room conditions are mid 70's with light on, mid 60's off, RH hovers around 45. Im finding I must remove moisture now vs. adding. All is good now, just packin on weight. Spears are everywhere, trichomes are starting to develop. Mmm...trichomes

Latest update:
Entering week 12 yesterday. She is in final stage of ripening. Quite a bit of cloudy trikes, but still some clear. Working on straight flush now, thinking maybe within the next 7 days. Lots of colors, and just a fantastic smell. Im a big fan of sour nasty dank flavors vs the fruity candy stuff. This is a nice blend of both. Heavy frost. I cant for the life of me get nice clear pics of trichomes thru the lens. Looks like its gonna be a nice haul I hope. Ill be back with some nice close-ups. Have a great weekend!

Well here we are, exactly 3 months of cure and I havent closed this. Here is my review:

Total dried and jarred was 192 grams. I was not picky about trimming lower growth, and there was plenty of it. I used this and made around 5 grams of oil.

Buds ended up nice and sticky, but a little loose. Breaks up into really nice fluff for J's tho. I attribute this to lighting issues; I simply ran out of room. Quite a bit of burn at the tips of some kolas. I also had issues with steady temps...got warm a few times and this reflected in resevoir temps as well. So, next grow...Ill fix the light clearance and get a damn chiller haha. Learing a lot.

6.5/10, all grower issues. Strain is delicious. After 3 months of curing, it has a really nice funky fruit smell. Best I can describe is cheesy grapes lol. The effect doesnt wait, its fast acting, starts heady, ends body. Nice bag appeal. But again, not as dense as Id like.
