My Low Budget Medical Grow

For sure mcloadie thanks for checking this out. Just harvested last grow and these 6 clones are for next round. I wanted to start them April first but they are small. BUt Im seeing seedlings with a week veg only looking nice flowering by bmeat , I think I will still try and see if shorter vegged clones blooming in my closet is better then vegging them longer.

Brother Alkhemist thanks on that thought. I like the natural idea on mite control, It seems it would fit into me recycling my soil for longer ongoing benifits. Im gonna have to check out your hedge row tonight.

I did give your journal a check and like how your running that T5. I have a 4bulb 4 footer for my veg and have been pondering on how it would do for flowering. If you check up, are you putting flowering bulbs in yours? Mine has the stock vegblue ones and they seem pricey to replace, do you think they would do if I tried it?

Im gonna switch over my clones early in size on April Fools Day maybe only 2 then wait some weeks and go that perpetual way maybe taking more clones but trying to keep the girls a little smaller,IDK I still need to plant the plugs in solos. I have a little fresh FFOF thats been sitting under the sink for a while 6-8 months? was fresh I guess but that mite just be fine tomoro well today after some sleep. Sorry on the pics I said days ago I have alot loaded to my gallery to show more results on last grow. :surrender:

That soil should be good, just innoculate it with beneficials. Perpetual grows are a pretty simple concept, you add plants to each stage of growth and development as often as you want to harvest, until you harvest, and keep doing that.

Just hanging for 4 days and got final trim and jarred last night

Thought there should be 3 in there
heres the A1 plant cut / defanned on Friday nite

The lower branches gave more weight the the 4 main toppers up top, they wer 6-8 inches lower in height

I think when cured I still might have 2 from her,The last trim and popcorn not worth time trimming are on deck for smoking to let the better nuggets cure longest.

5gs here but could feel moisture at stem when holding after cutting so maybe 3.5?

After all at this moisture level I may just hit 3 without trim and popcorn

Things I want to do better on next grow are have less branches and to keep healthier for a longer flower to actually try and find this strains optimal harvest from looking through a scope I hope to get. Get a new 400w hps bulb since I have no idea on current hours run, 4 grows maybe 6? Run a perpetual to not be so antsy without meds. and not chopping early.

Ya, that's what I'm talking about, some commercial fertlizers have it inside already. My soil is stacked. It's all about the soil with organics, like pulling a wagon, the wagon will go wherever the handle does!

Checking back in to show whats happening today. I wanted to start 12/12 on my clones 4/1 and did with what I had on hand for soil mix. I decided to flower only best 4 of 6 clones, I took 4 3gal pots and filled them equally with the last of some mix I made for last grow and only added perlite nothing else. That wasnt enough soil so I added equally the last of fresh FFOF left sitting several months for the top layer and planted the rooted riot cubes and watered in with plain water about 3/28

I trimmed off the lower leaves that had mite dots on them, They werent yellowed or def of nutes taken for cloone growth either so I was a liitle worried on plants showing nute def. put in this soil so early in developement and cutting off some storage leafs too. I hope they are happy with the soil they have now. I will plain water until they show signs and all I have is my GO BOX kit to serve them. I will see what this mix can do for them alone now with just water.

Then 4/2 I cutt 7 clones the 2 left over dried up I was gonna cull them anyway. Its to get 4 nice ones to put in 12/12 on 5/1. They are in the dome in root cubes, I tried to cut shorter ones higher up but a couple were lower more lenghty. I wasnt so trying to get 2 nodes gelled and in the plug a couple may be that but just a 45'under one node with some resined dirty scissors is most are.

They got some water yesterday for the young roots at base and are still under the 400 MH until I can get a new HPS bulb. A couple more leafs were trimmed that I had left with mite signs till I noticed growth. Tonight whole grow will get neem oil sprayed again that I will continue for the first 4 weeks of 12/12.

These clones were cut 24 days ago and put into these 3gal pots 8 days ago. I flowered them 3 days ago without a solid root system and am not counting on my average of 1 each. But am sure hopeing 4 a surprise The next 4 entering will have 28 days (one week more) from cut to flower, I also hope to have them in soil longer. That soil will be from 2 grows ago, My high brix with my new beans is being pushed back for money issues.

The new ones or the 4 starting flower which is what I think you mean! I hope they will be OK,are you thinking my mix on the bot or the old new FFOF on top to cause burn?

I also never checked ph of mix and that was a worry I had. I cant tell plants showing signs of either ph probs or nute def, except looking stunted maybe, but hopefully sending roots. They do show a little new growth and original leaves getting a little bigger. Its been short time but I think they a getting it frm mix since I only planted the cubes in the pots with maybe 8 up to a 1/2 inch roots growing at bot half on plugs. I should of took pics. Im getting a new hps bulb this weekend and maybe something else.

How you say its bad for the air?

Congrats on taking yours 10 weeks They look awesome and that is just more weeks of smell I will expect to deal with if I can keep mine growing to their fullest like your doing.

I have been forgetting lately on spraying neem oil for my mites,so since last time which wasnt when I said I was gonna on this journal ?? I cant remember last time but eggs must have hatched on my mother in the veg room as probably 50% of her just looking at outer leafs has been a buffet.

On top of that back, when I took the A Mom out of service I left her to sit(in the closet) and dry out and I grabbed her the other day Sunday and the toppers now dried and crispy had webs spun around the tips that had wlted over full of reddish mites to my eyes. I was in a panic mode and cut and flushed immediately and the mix was thrown out. SHe was drying out on top of the veg spot. I need everbody to line up for a dipshit thump on me to knock some sense back. closetorganics mite grow

My thinking is tonight pulling everything for a spraying of neem oil and cleaning with a bleach solution. I cant bomb the closet or use what I should or even hang those strips. I may have sunk my ship since Im infested now. The new 7 clones are at 7 days from cutting and sorta looking rough, I hope to get them in solos with soil at 2 weeks old, hopefully the make it and I should be seeing roots by then compared to last clones, just they would get 2 more weeks in soil veg to establish a root system. Mites havent really taken hold of them but I do see some signs on the lowest fans I left for food. This is about the same as the flowering four had and the neem controlled that so far. They look OK so far and will need watering soon probably. I only gave plain water at planting them in pots and one more time when I wrote it here. Slow evaporation or little used from such small plants now at 1 week into 12/12, still under a 400w MH Temps are mid to high 80's about 8 hours into lights on and dropping to low 70's at night.Rh hits its peak overnight at 30% and goes down to 20% halfway into lights.

They arent growing as fast and big as I want but Im happy , they are growing somewhat, I have to keep them green and they have to flower more than 8 weeks. I got my less than $3 and no shipping cost from ebay jewelers loop with led today. Theres going to be observation on trichs now for harvest signs this grow. Money for growroom improvements is nowhere to be found. Alot of my ideas/plans are backburnered and I will try for my best with what I got now.

Keep hammerin those mites til they're gone, those plants are strong and IMHO will still produce.

plants look good, great color to them. you need to kill the mites, and then kill the larva in the soil even if you cant see them. neem oil for some time. start heavy, then taper down.

Thanks guys, I did neem them last night and I watered the mom plant with plain water and neem oil mixed in. As far as the cleaning not yet, I have been thinking on other ideas along with the neem maintenence that I must stay religous too But like a garlic spray,I also have been thinking on useing garlic powder sprinkled on carpet in closet after I vacuum and bleach wash. I should grow garlic in there too
The 4 into flower I will also give some plain water today probably a quart each, I have been considering 10/14 for flower but these clones are so small that the extra 2 hours is probaly better? At least for now, and I may have to put my old hps back in or just keep the MH untill I get a new bulb which is how Im feeling kinda, maybe that MH will help growth better.I hopeing to aquire a new HPS bulb in the next couple weeks

This little thing has brought a whole new look to my grow.I love it seeing things so close but also get disgusted at seeing what I have to fix now.

this thing was alive and moving at picture time but a stationary position and the front legs claws where going nuts, not sure what was going on

That was flushed, I feel for the Mom if I choose to save her I must transplant in a bigger pot and really thin her out as I haven't really done anything on maintaining her as a Mom, but mostly for getting rid of all those eggs that must be incubating in my veg spot. I am gonna state that another neem oil spray will be applied to all of the ladies tonight again. That last one showed no problems and I will forever have to keep spraying my plants to stop the cycles of eggs and to catch the ones hideing in closet when they decide to munch. The four girls flowering are coming along slowly but surely at 10 days now.

they are barely over the pot rim 4 to 5 inches tall maybe I will have to measure sometime.

I am thinking on saving this ones lower site I might have to lst her alittle

The flowering four did get 1 quart of tap water that has dechlorinated each yesterday. Just before that the leaves were strong and straight slighty pointing up and overall looking good. Ass Im watering by the time I got to the 3rd one the leafs fell or sagged slighty in the first 2 in my opinion a fast time So for the last one I sat and watched her and really felt I watched that happen. It was cool seeing how fast the water was transported to those upper fans, and then I go thinking maybe I shoulda waited longer to water, today they werent soluteing like that
