My little first plants!

Make sure you use electric stove and evaporate all of the isopropyl off or it will be the worst thing you've ever tasted. I still highly advise using butane instead. But then again I think you should smoke buds for your first time so you don't screw anything up and cheat yourself. Other than that sounds like fun. I like talking with you too Rik always a pleasure.

Well i'm highly against using butane because one spark can cause mayhem. I do have heard stories from people that where making BHO or something else with butane and cannabis and then blowed up themselves with their house. When the police and hospital finds out that happend because you wanted to make something out of cannabis with butane then the health insurance and the insurance for your house won't pay for that so then you are in serious trouble. So I know some tricks to know if it's eveporated proparly so don't worry about me! I know what I will be doing otherwise I won't do it! And yeah I my first smoke will be some nice homemade buds because I want to make it simple for my first time by just smoking a pipe or vaporizer for dry herb. But we'll see!

BHO is done outside. I can never evaporate all isopropyl. It has shitty taste. I don't even like BHO to be honest. Do small extraction first. Glad you are smoking buds for first time would be terrible to see you waste your efforts Rik.
Haha well i'm not going to use any big buds for RSO. I'll be using really small buds and only leaves for RSO. Nothing wasted here.

When I saw that huge bag of seeds I started drooling lol. I wish I had that many. You know strains in there or they random?

Sent from my Aquaris X5 using 420 Magazine Mobile App
They are originally just hemp seeds for animals to feed. So they are all male seeds but there is a very high chance that there are some female seeds in there. I will find out! Those male seeds will be used for breeding. It's a little bit much but everything that I can't germinate within 18 months will just be given to the birds of my grandfather.

Little update on my Durban Poison.

420-magazine-mobile2030033873.jpg

This morning I discovered that my cat dug a deep hole in the pot of my Durban Poison and basically destroying a lot of those roots so she doesn't have enough roots now to supply the whole plant so she will be dying. So what do you guys think? Get rid of her now and make room for another plant or leave her this way and look what will happen? I dont really mind that that happend to the Durban Poison but now i'm nerveous because the cay could do the same thing again but then to one of those other plants that I really love so... We'll see.

Could be worse. You could have rabbits in there like me! (I was lucky. I only lost 2 small clones and a branch on the mother.)

I would wait to see how plant deals with it. It may do fine with just a reduced yield in the end. If you see too much stress you can then prune her back to balance top growth to roots. No need to toss the whole thing.

I cut hardware cloth to fit the top of my house plant soil to keep my cats from digging.

Pretty good advice Kingston thank you! I never could imagine that the cat would do that. She did it 3 years ago once and then never again. They have their own toilet with really good cat litter and still she thinks: CANNABIS PLANT! MUST! DIG!

A little update because I feel like it! Some bud pictures though NOT BUTT PICTURES BUT BUD PICTURES! That's a weird sentence to read...

My Northern Lights autoflower:

Her 3 main cola's! looking pretty nice and smells amazing. I do think she has 1 week remaining or maybe 2 at the most but well, until then I can still enjoy her beautiful sight. No further problems detected she is just an angel of a plant.

Durpan Poison: Well I was too lazy to make pictures of her but she is just a houseplant now, just water her every now and then but nothing more really.

Red Cherry Berry!

420-magazine-mobile1496781572.jpg

She looks just amazing... Further down the plant there are some leaves dying and some leaves look sick but other then that she is doing well. Her foxtales are turning orange red which means that she has 4 5 weeks to go and then she is ready for harvest. She is an awesome plant to look at.

I will update the little seedlings and weird stuff happening around them in a second. Hold on and enjoy these nice plants! Also, I ordered the new lamps. 18x3 watt LED lights. Amazing upgrade compared to the 15x1 lights I have now but still, my plants are doing amazing under a 15 watt lamp. Unfortunately the lamps are sold out and will be delivered to me end of next week... Now i'm sad because maybe my littleNorthern Lights Autoflower is done by then and then she can't experience the bright new lights! Life is so short for them...

SEEDLING UPDATE!

Just hold on guys this is something pretty rough so put in your seat belts... We're going for a ride...

First: Auto Industrial Plant CBD and Auto Fresh Candy
420-magazine-mobile163575695.jpg

So the one in front is the Industrial Plant CBD, I hope she will pop her head soon otherwhise if she's dead I'll be pretty sad... And behind her in the rockwool cube, the little nice auto Fresh Candy, now bare with me here because I will call her little for the rest of her life even when she is 9 feet tall! But as you can see, now she is at 9 centimeters!

Following up: the Futura 75
420-magazine-mobile236278178.jpg

Well I pretty much ran out of ashtrays so I had to improvise on how to do stuff. Now i'm pretty legendary at improvising so first I thought I'd put her in a 6 gallon pot only for germination! But then I thought why shouldn't I use a coffee mug that I don't like? So I used the coffy mug for a mini hydro system! So again some information about the Futura 75 (I have already mention this so if you already know it then jump over to the next seedlings!) So the Futura 75 is a registered hemp plant in europe, which means you can grow her freely and legally because she has under 0,2%THC so she is registered as a hemp plant.

Last: Male hemp seeds!
420-magazine-mobile1395517157.jpg

I was too lazy to remove the paper towell so don't worry. So, I bought a big bag of male hemp seeds (well only hemp seeds to be fair, there is a high chance that there are female plants in there) Hemp seeds are usually used as feed for farm animals. Some exotic birds love them too. So I germinated some and the just came out so I know that they can be plants and I'll use them to breed with. So I came down stairs checked on some plants like: good morning ladies, are you all doing well? Good! So what about you boys:
420-magazine-mobile1140554597.jpg

So I saw him and I said: Bro what the hell are you doing? I mean, I know you like girls and stuff but you don't have to put your head up that high! You will get pain in your neck! Do you even know how to cannabis bro? And he was like: Nah i'm just looking, no worries! Everything is fine. So he laughed I laughed we drank something and we had a good time!

I'd say you have longer than a couple weeks with the Northern Lights. None of her pistils have started to change, and in my personal experience that change signals harvest within 3-4 weeks. The last two weeks they pack on like you won't believe. She's quite the beauty though, and I know what she smells like.

No fair not posting a picture of the Durbin Poison. Just because they're not pretty isn't enough reason to hide them from view. You'd be surprised what abuse these plants will take and potentiate the oil in response.

Careful with the boys. Pollen spreads like air.

Well I'll stop with expected harvest time I'll just wait and see what happens! And also I know about the male plants being one hell of a problem in some places. Male pollen can travel up to 30 miles in the wind! And just to be safe I will put a wet sheet or something between the airvent and the plants but I will see it then. Cannabis plants are pretty amazing plants...

My little auto Industrial Plant CBD is popping her head! Now i'm happy. I do have to look into that strain because I don't know if she is hard to grow and I do want to know that before she shows that she is hard to grow though.

Now something else important and it's heavily off topic but it's to let you guys know what happend. So yesterday something happened to a friend of mine and something happened to my Lieutenant. I'm not going into what exacly happened because that's more private and well, it's just to let you guys know that I won't be here the next week. Just like christmas 2016 all over again. So, don't worry about me but I won't be able to write for a while.

Nice update about the big plants!

Starting with the Northern Lights autoflower:
420-magazine-mobile1813648632.jpg

420-magazine-mobile1517146930.jpg

She is just looking and smelling good! I turned her around to let the other side of her enjoy the light too! I should have done that earlier because you cab clearly see which side was always facing the light! But anyway, according to you guys she still has 2 3 weeks to go and 3 at the most. I have spotted some amber trichomes and I have heared that the harvest window is 2 weeks so if you wait 1 extra week then that couldn't hurt so I might do that.

Next up in line: Durban Poison.

420-magazine-mobile517037970.jpg

I just have one picture of her because I couldn't really get to the other side of the plant but I hope this will be just fine. Anyway, as you may already know, the cat dug a hole in the pot and destroying a lot of roots. But it doesn't seem to affect her! Her foxtales are dying back and she is already in flowering mode for about 6 weeks and the breeder said that it will take 10 weeks of flower before she is reasy so I do think she still needs 6 to 8 weeks. When she is done I will be using her completely for RSO. Not that much CBD in her but THC should be pretty nice then so we'll see! I hope she will survive my cats though!

Next and last one: Red Cherry Berry from Barney's Farm. Why do I mention Barney's Farm so much and not from the other plants? Well the Northern Lights and Durban Poison are both homemade breed from the store I bought the other seeds.

You might be thinking: Wait a second... Why do those pictures look so empty?
420-magazine-mobile413679516.jpg

420-magazine-mobile906289959.jpg

I took her outside so she can enjoy the nice weather and the cool breeze. And also with this plant you can see which side faced the window. The first pucture is the side that always faced away from the window that's why it doesn't look as happy as the other side and to be fair that's a learning proces for me. I did forget to turn the plants around evenly every day. They became to tall so turning them around could damage some branches against the other plants or other stuff that stands around them. Next time thoug, I will be turning them around so that every side will get as much light as they need. So, her foxtales are almost red (almost all of them) She has 6 to 8 weeks of flowering before she is done and she is like the other 2 plants also 6 weeks into flowering. So I think she still needs 4 to 6 weeks. I don't really keep track of it because I just see when they are done, because it doesn't feel that good when it says that she just needs 12 weeks and you are like: Wow thats 2 weeks fron now on! And then she still needs 6. So I just wait and give the plants their time!

The seedling are also enjoying the weather, it's the first time that it actually is more than 15°C around here and I love it so I am enjoying this moment by letting my plants enjoy it too!

I hope you guys have a great day, I honestly thought that I would be having a very busy week but that didn't really turned out to be that busy at all!

Get those pictures of the Durbin Poisin harvest posted. I flew over to celebrate your harvest with you.

Mites:straightface: You mentioned lady bugs though, and they are the natural predators for spider mites, so do your best to get some onto some of your plants. Let them pick the mites clean.

You went fast with this grow. How time flies when you're having fun,eh? I'm headed back to my yard to see the pictures. :battingeyelashes:
