Day 44:
Im pretty sure the cause of whats going on with those leaves is nats. Any safe, organic pesticides, or any ways to get rid of them. After this grow i will be getting a new led that has uv chips in it. Any help with getting rid of what's eating my leaves would be great lol. I looked under the leaves and there is nothing. No white dots, red dots, mites, or anything. I found one nat.

So i am gonna look into getting a light that has some dedicated uv diodes. I thought the mars lights had them, but they dont. Probly gonna sell this light after this grow to bank roll the next one. Any recommendations? Also future growers look for uv[360-380], blue[400-480], red[620-680], and ir[730] i your grow lights b4 purchasing if you are growing cannabis these are are encouraged. Uv activates the plants natural defenses against disease and infection, but is harmful to human skin and eyes. The blue is mainly for veg but the plant uses it through the entire grow process. The red and infrared are targeted for the flowering stage. I love the mars lights, but to be perfect for me they need to add the same amount of uv diodes to match the ir diodes. So for the 450 watt reflector they need to take out 3 blue diodse and add 3 uv diodes. Actually, i think i will just replace the diodes myself and just usethis 450w as a donor for a better build. Thoughts?

I've noticed similar tears on my leaves after switching to led lighting and I asked around and it's because of the leds. nothing to worry about.

Thanks b! That makes me feel better. I hate bugs with a passion. I really want a some uv diodes tho, ive been doing quite of bit of research and uv diodes help build more thc by activating the plants natural defences.

Im not worried about the warranty. I repair computers, tvs, phones, and pretty much anything else electronic, leds are the simplest of things to work on. I didnt want to do a t5 because its more heat that i dont want in there. The led light is fine, all they are missing is a uv diode in each of the reflector panels. Thanks for the wisdom!

I topped it after I smoked. But i found out that it just means i will be down one node. A lesson for next time, don't top after you enter the first week of flowering lol.

After my "2nd grow" hydro fail, I've learned that once your tree branches go from green to woody, it's best not to cut anything off til harvest.
