My Grow

Just my luck. Woke up this morning to find my 6" Exhaust Fan went out sometime last night. It started getting noisy about a week ago. I figured it was going to happen. Just not as fast as it did. I'll just have to leave it like that till the weekend. Hope it don't get too hot in there.

OK, "OG KUSH" is down & hanging. Here's some pics of her before the chop.

Looks to be 5-6 oz. dry. Pretty sure the other 2 will be ready next week. I hope at least one will be since I have a 4 day weekend & plenty of time to trim.

Congrats on the harvest Buds! Looks just as good upsidedown. :thumb:
I went by RQS recommendations for harvest time. It said about 70% Red Hairs so that's why there are still some white ones. It had 5% clear, 85% Cloudy & 10% Amber Trichs. It said 8-9 weeks was optimum & Sunday would have been 9 weeks.... so close enough.

OG Kush is almost dry enough to jar. Maybe another day or two at best. Aurora Indica looks ready now. She's 85% Cloudy & 15% Amber. Wish I could figure out where the hell the pics go that I take with the digital microscope. I took pics of the Trich's but can't find them on my computer. Son is at work so no help till tonight. I totally suck on computers. Royal PITA ! Hasn't been a user friendly operating system (for dummies) since XP. They've made things too complicated for me.
Anyways, Aurora goes in the closet at lights out on Friday. I'll harvest her Sat. night. Pics when I do.
Might have a weight on the OG by then too.

The "OG KUSH" is now dried & jarred. 137 grams (3 gr. short of 5 oz.). Now to wait for the cure.

The "AURORA INDICA" spent 36 hours in the dark Thurs / Fri. & I started chopping her this morning. I've been working on it little by little all day. I still have all the smaller bottom branches to go. I harvested everything up top. The buds feel really dense & at the moment it weighs a lot.
Pics before the harvest.

Finished harvesting the Aurora last night. Here's some pics of the whole harvest. I'm guessing 6 - 6.5 oz. since the buds are thick & heavy.

No pun intended Buds, :ciao: hope you are well my friend.
Another fantastic harvest. :yahoo:
Take care.

Stay safe:cool:

The "AURORA INDICA" came out to just under 6 oz. (162 gr.). She's got a really sweet smell & taste; with of course the fresh green taste mixed in. She aught to be pretty tasty after the cure.

This morning I started the harvest on the "WHITE WIDOW". She's got a really nice scent to her.

trimming is why grandkids were invented.

Congrats on all the beautiful harvests Buds! How are you feeling about this grow after almost giving up after the last one?
Honestly, Between the 3 grows I'm doing I've learned a few things. I'm still not pulling the yields I want to hit (8 oz. per plant consistently). But so far all the weed has been pretty good. Getting ready to harvest the 3 plants in cloth pots in the testing journal this week. I have one in the closet now for 48 hours. It's been kind of tough trying to keep up with 3 journals & harvest at the same time. Wont do that again....lol. Sure wish my last 3 clones would show their sex already so I can get some plants out of the 2x4 tent & get things rolling. Finally bought the rolling cart & finished up the bubble cloner; which I'll be using in about a week. I have 1 male Cherry on Top & 1 Aurora female in a closet vegging. Going to put those 2 in the shed & cross them to see how that goes.
Sure wish I knew how I trimmed the plants to get those donkey dicks I got in the journal 2 years ago. I haven't been able to replicate that for nothing. I need to see some pics of a plant that was just trimmed up for that so I can see what all to cut off. I always get nervous that I'll cut too much off & destroy my yield.
So what resources do you use to know what a plants needs are ? I don't know where to look these things up. Things I want to know are things like how much N, P, K, Ca, Mg, etc. the plant needs & what things cause one element to lock another element out. Someone had said that in flower Si can lock out Mg. I need to learn some of this stuff. I just suck & wording things for internet searches so it takes forever to find what I'm looking for.
Well, I took pics for another journal, so I need to get them loaded, resized & posted. Talk to you later.

The AZ. heat has been hell the past week. 111 F - 115 F. Pure torture ! It's 11:00 pm & it's 102 F right now. AC in shed is on 73F & temps in there still hit 90F. I can't see anyone growing outside in this kind of weather. It's just too hot for it. I don't think they could handle this kind of heat. I know I can't.... lol.

I recall Cannabis Business Times having some articles on the matters in question. Between those, others sources I can't immediately remember, and personal experience:

N between 120-180 ppm, I target 150 for most plants.

P between 20-50, I target 30. Several Nute companies will have this number as high as 100. Those that seem to use the 100 ppm product lines seem to have to flush due to lockouts. I blame the excessive P.

K between 150-300. I target 200-240. Around 300 ppm of K you can see all kinds of lockouts occur of multiple elements.

Ca between 70-100 ppm

Mg between 30-50 ppm

Si 50 ppm. I've never seen a lockout from Si but I've never really exceeded 50 ppm either.

Well here we go with the final results. "WHITE WIDOW" = 5 oz. + 20 grams. She tastes so sweet & the high lasts for about 3-4 hours. Best one out of the 3, although the others are good too.
