I like the marker idea. I was putting labels on mine but they kept falling off.

Thanks Jimmy, I will try and get pics if possible, but they are under one of the lights with the purplish looking lighting. I don't want to take the bucket out for pic's as it takes quite awhile to line the stems up in the stream of water if I even bump it wrong (it's a great cloner, I just need to refine my way of putting them into it) . But I may be able to kill the lights and see if the light in the room will be enough for some pic's. It should be cool to watch. Seeing them go out of flower and back into veg is something I'm looking forward to seeing. And yes, your right about the MJ working so well for me, it helps my pain better than the narcs. Regardless of whether I end up with insurance, at least I'll have something for the pain.
Anyways, I will try the picture thing in the morning to show you how they look now at the start. I had to cut smaller stalks because of the buds making them so top heavy, they just kept falling over. I even had to trim a couple buds (but I cut them at the end right at the bud with a little of the stalk still there) so I could stand them up in the cloner and even now they fell over and I got 1 standing and the other one almost laying down on the cloning bucket (The stalk was crooked and it just won't stand up) but at least both stems are in a stream of water.

So that's it. I will try some pic's in the morning, but don't be surprised. They are the smallest I've cloned so far because of the buds added weight making them almost impossible to line up with the stream unless I used smaller stems. Hopefully these will work being small, but I have a little time to wait before harvest to try again if they turn out too small. Even when you see them, you have to realize their is about 5" of stalk below the cloner lid.
 
Try putting the stems through a cut straw, but leave the part that is inside the cloner open. See if that works to help prop 'em up. ;-)

Yeah, Jimmy...those labels can be problems due to humidity. Solo cups are cheap, and I've actually scrubbed off marker writing and made them useful again after many marks. LOL (I don't like spending money...mostly 'cuz I don't have it. :laugh: )

I never would have thought to try a straw. I'll give that a try the next time I have to adjust them. I have these in the stream good for now but every couple days they seem to shift and that's when I'll try the straws. One is propped in now using a Clothes pin. In fact, I got a picture a little bit ago for Jimmie I was just coming onto post. So, here we go:

Sorry the pic isn't better, I took 12 pic's and this is the clearest I could get. In front of the bookcase top section is taller than my canes to try and steady the camera. I tried the best using my elbows, but this is the best I could do. The one with the clothes pin is the one that kept falling over until last night when I tried the clothes pin. That one has most of the stem under the lid and I'm not sure I could get a straw on this one, still I'll give it a try if it moves again, but the one on the left should work great. I even have straws in 3 different sizes in diameter. I used to chew on them when I quit smoking cigarettes. (I'm just grateful I could find them after the move last year)

I want to try that, revegging a whole plant after the harvest, but just don't have room to do it. But that is awesome that you've got one coming back for another harvest.

Strain and Date is most important. After you have transferred out of the cup and into big pots, just cross off the info and write new info when a new seed goes in. Then there's no chance of losing a label.

Just chiming in...I use masking tape on solo cups and write on the tape with a sharpie. Mine really don't get that wet, so that works from the start.

Once in pots, I use these....

I agree on the masking tape, sometimes humidity takes that off on me too if it's old stuff. I love the little labelers for the pots.
I've been using plastic arrow vanes. I've got hundreds of them. LOL If I ever run out, I will definitely go for what you've shown.

Nope, I do have 1 more Nirvana Black Jack seed. But your right, it was a pretty close call on growing an indica. I still have some Sativa seeds which I like during the day because my mind still stays alert. I plan on using the sativa weed during the day and the indica at night to help me fall asleep so I can stop taking the sleep med I need.
 
Just thought I'd update you guys on the plants in veg and the cloner while I'm taking a break from searching for help for my situation at the FD. The first pic is of the 2 plants in the cloner. On the left is the DCSSH (Canna's idea for the straw to help stabilize it worked great on this one as you can see) and the one on the right is the NYPD and the leaves are already starting to show change on them as they slowly return to veg. Thanks for the tip Canna, I have only had to adjust that one (to keep the stem in the stream) once a day, sometimes not even that often. The second pic is of the 2 in the bottom of the bookcase, but they need a lot more time before going into the tent as you can see from the pic's. I have done some defoliating to let light get down lower to the plants. The one on the left is WW x MK and the one on the right is is another Black Jack but it is growing quite a bit slower as they are both the same age. The WW x MK is having the LST done with twine (since I can't spend a lot of time bending them because of my back getting worse, probably from stress and cutting back on the narcs and not using MJ for now in case it turns out I need new doctors because of the insurance problem), slowly pulling the branches in the direction to keep them from touching the lights, Every couple of days I tighten the twine up maybe an inch or 2 as I don't want it getting burnt by the lights. Sorry for rambling on, here's the pic's (BTW, I didn't get pic's of them but the 2 seedlings are growing great!):

Thanks for all the patience you all have shown me lately. It may take a while to get the grow back in sync since I had the problem with germinating.
 
Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, I'm just sort of hurting the last few days and just want to give it a chance to feel better before I start doing things again. It's been bad enough that I've been using my daily narcotics for now (I had cut down to almost half of the normal amount I take before now because of it hurts). I'm also holding back on the MJ in case I end up with a different insurance and have to switch Doc's and they test me. Mentally I'm doing good other than worrying, it's just my back pain limiting my activities. Today is the first day it's starting to do better, so as soon as I can, I will be back to posting like normal again.

Your right about the old pains that have been hidden for awhile coming back, But I'll get thru. I hope your right about the healthcare, That's been keeping me up most nights worrying about it. I had planned to quit the narc's anyways, but not the meds that control my B/P and heart arrhythmia (nothing serious with treatment, just a little irregular as long as I take my meds). Thanks for the encouragement Rad, you guys treat me too good.

Hey there. Forgive my ignorance, but is testing you for MJ a possibility? Doesn't seem relevant.
Again sorry for my ignorance( i grow for my wife ) My wife has been out of the insurance/getting narcs for more than 5 years. We have the secret stash in case of a major back spasm but that is it. Her 4 blown disks are still painful. Honestly getting up from a chair is painful for her I dunno how she does it everyday. ( some day you ask me about the one time I took half of one of her pills, not good for me )

Listen. If you post just once a week just to let us know you are still the cool guy we all know. I think you are doing Grate! So no worries if ya that a breather from 420mag. Keep the sunny side up Smoke!
