My First Journal

Just a quick update about the grows as I've just switched to flower so the girls had there first 12hrs of dark today. As you can see ive installed a tent in the bigger tent was going to weave it thru the net but decide to just use it to help control the stretch and remove it altogeher in about 25 days.

So I'm now 5 days into flower sorry I didn't update my feed schedule it is as follows
Ph water 5.2 for aquafarm 5.8 for fabric pots.
Water starts with an ec of .2
.2 calmag 20ml
1.2 of advanced nutrients a+b 50ml of each
Total ec 1.6
20ml bud ignitor
20ml sensizyme
(This ratio is for 20ltrs of feed)
I have removed the net in the bigger tent to make it easier to feed water with being top feed.

Are you ph'ing the water before you add nutes? If so dont do that, only do that after everything is added and mix well.

You need to add a root stim def for first 14-21 days of flower as roots are under high amount of stress as they are firing out every where. it liooks like not a lot is happening at this point but its a critical stage of root development. Strong roots equals strong buds. Id be adding Voodoo juicve and great white shark to your mix and carboload to feed it. This combination gives amazing results.

Iv always Ph'd my water before adding any feeds is that wrong cult thought that was common practice and I was adding just a cheap root stimulant for Dutch pro the great white was to heavy in the res and just sank just received my agitator tho

big error that mate. always add in this order.. calmag, base nute, additives. the nutes will change thew value of the ph mate. in the water farm you want ph to be between 5.5 and 6.0. add great white shark direct to roots, dont p[ut in res cos it will make it gunky. then put carboload in res once per week. use roots excelurator for root stim. do you follow my grows?

The thing is after you have added your nutes you could still be in the 5.2-6.2 band for hydro and coco, therefore its ok. But def only adjust ph after mixing the nutes. make sure they well mixed. Also dont worry about leaving your water 24hours for chlorine to come out, we have some of the vest tap water in the world in our area. its more important to have your water the cforrect temperature.

read through my older journals, im sure theres water farm in one of them. follow my recipe in the coco feed schedule and you will get pro results. As you get better you can fine tune it. Do not skimp on roots, get rid of the dutch pro, its shockingly shite. just go ionic hydro bloom or coco bloom, alwa`ys use coco specific nutes for coco and hydro for hydro as the have different ratios of micro nutrients, especially cal;cium and magnesium. Ionic is cheap, really effective and simple to use.

Also ph down after buddy after everything

Your girls were awesome!! Very impressive. How long did you flower them?

Vegged 5 weeks from seed and flowered for 9.5 weeks. You dont need really long veg times or flower times. You need loads of quality, useable light and loads of fresh CO2 by way of a good passive intake that still allows negative pressure but exchanges air in room min 2-3x per minute.

I am using CO2 in a tank as well as CO2 bags. The bags I use in my flower room and have the tank blowing into my veg room. The air in my veg room vents into my flower room. This is my first grow using a CO2 tank. I am very impressed with the results so far. My veg room and flower room both look awesome. Here is a pic of the Trichomes in the flower room.
