I find with the Cal Mag I've been using I have to use it at the full strength feed they recommend based on the age of the plant and even at that I've seen a deficiency and had to use over the recommended dose at times.

I use GH branded Cal-mag. Coming from soil got me the less is always better mentality. I would always rather add more then having a plant get toxicity. Like I said, if I see it spreading, the res change should correct it. I doubt I locked it out.I find with the Cal Mag I've been using I have to use it at the full strength feed they recommend based on the age of the plant and even at that I've seen a deficiency and had to use over the recommended dose at times.
I'm No expert, only one round of this DWC, but it turned out good. Just about to flip again shortly.Thank you. I'll add the lava rocks for now until I get some clay pebbles. They came in the kit so I used them. I only did that to get the cube closer to the bottom then I can build up as the plant gets taller. I didn't think about allowing light into those small holes though. So let's say day one after changing my water and I add nutes...3 days later if my level is low, do I add more or do I wait til the new water change to bump the level up if the schedule calls for it?
Thank you for stopping in. I pretty much do the same thing as well. I add everything they need during the res change then add only water to top up when needed to. She's small still so top ups aren't too much yet. I am sure this will change soon though. I am going to keep an eye on the leaves for right now but if it starts spreading, the additional cal-mag should correct itself.I'm No expert, only one round of this DWC, but it turned out good. I feed every week with the fresh water change, and topped up the water level with PHd water only. (I do add a bit of Cal/Mag, I'm using RO water.)
ppm drops, ph rises a bit, top up till the weeks over......
The breeder and I had spoke a little about the strain. One of the first things he said is how the GSC Xtrme brings a solid yield into the mix. I had ran GSC before and it instantly was a favorite in my house. Hoping to find a gem in the bunch though. I wouldn't mind making a bubble cloner, making her a mother and keeping her around a while. I had even offered to the breeder to send a clone back if they see anything they like.I think you’ll like those seeds, solid genetics. I’ve run those GSC xtrm before and they’re fairly big yielders.
I got the chance to make seeds once. I actually got it going right now. I just flipped her to flower about last week. Nothing special. Just a chuck to see how it all goes down. Peanut Butter Breathe x Zskittlez.Clones are great for many reasons, seed making is one
They have some other strains I was looking at as well. If genetics are solid, I'll be ordering from them again. These are more untested so who knows what I'll get. Super stoked though.I ran an older cross from the same breeder a couple of years ago. GSC xtrm x Afghan #1. Was a really good night cap for bedtime.
I couldn't agree any more. Just getting settled in here too.Get onboard with Lucky Seeds early, I see him doing some cool stuff in the near future.
Time only goes slow before you turn 21. Once you hit 21, if we blink once 2 years flies by. I am just getting to know him at a business level but I am sure we will be chatting more down the road. Very nice guy I must say.I’ve known the owner at Lucky Seeds for 4 years now, don’t seem like that long lol
It is very minimal. I could have even left a water droplet on it and burned it. Doubt it but like you said. Nothing bad enough to turn around pretty easily.Doesn’t look bad, should be able to turn them around quickly.
