That's the funny thing, I don,t think I did anything real special. I grew them from bag seed indoors, on a window seal until they got to be about 10-12 inches in height and then planted them out in the garden using ordinary potting soil, I watered them regularly and gave them Miracle Grow about once every week to week and a half. This summer was very sunny and warm in southern Ontario which helped tons I think. Other than that, nothing. The stalks were pretty thick, maybe something like the size of a silver dollar.

This is what I was able to save from the early harvest I was forced to do. Been curing the buds of over a week now and will let them continue the curing in the dark for another couple of weeks. Will be receiving my set of Bubble Bags today or tomorrow and will see what I can get from the leaves.

Wow I would say you were still able to pull in a reasonable harvest. That should last you awhile. If you don't mind, could you snap some close up's of the nugs that are in the jars to emphasize trichomes, density, etc.? That would be neat!

Awesome, thank you for the quick response! That look's yummy and hairy! There's an old myth about hairs not doing anything, but the legend is that they provide an intense, heady, cerebral high thats associated with clear/cloudy trichomes. I've smoked full bowls of pure red hairs, they do infact get you high =)

But it looks like there is some give to the buds as well. That's quite a bit of jars!

I sampled some just before the forced harvest and though the buds were small and still not very dry, I was able to get a decent high off them so I'm thinking these, once completely cured, will be delicious. They are not very tight, as they might have been and won,t win any contest for sure, lol. I've got 5 jars of the bigger plant's buds and one for the smaller plant, I kept them separated so as to enjoy their different qualities as they are not the same strains.

Hey Sassyfemme. Those are beautiful ladies. Hope you can harvest before the frost gets them. It was cold here last night.
My grow is indoor and it's my first one too. I'm in about day 54 of flowering and I'm getting lot's of trichs, but they're not as frosty as yours yet.

Thank you, I had to harvest them about 2 weeks ago after hearing of a plan by some teens to come into our backward and stealing them. So I did the whole drying bit and now am curing the buds and they'll soon be ready ( another 2-3 weeks ). I will grow indoors from now on.

Sorry about your early harvest, if i knew someone was going to hit my garden you can bet I'd be waiting.. but that's just me. How does this herb par with what you have been buying? if any... It will only get better once your all set up indoors. If you have any question don't be shy to ask might be able to help.:peace:
