My First Grow, My Own Strain-Sledge Hammer & Hpno Buzz

good things take time brother!! :cheesygrinsmiley:
i understand that the GLR light cycle can help speed the transition from veg to flower too.. something to consider down the line maybe?? yeah the first week is DEF a slow one sometimes... often i dont even count it as part of the actual flowering cycle-first week of flowering that is. yeah mcloadie brings up a good point too.. are you on the bud juice yet?
so the girls are finally showing pistils!? the best part of the show begins :-p and i completely agree with how growing and plants generally can teach us ALOT!~ also the things we do to them can be applied to our own beings..def patience! understanding that they are ready when they are ready loL training & training them to grow in certain directions(hopefully the 'right' path and not the 'wrong' ;-]), nutrition(we are what we eat) exposure to light(enlightenment!! :cheesygrinsmiley:) a wonderful analogy indeed :green_heart:
growing CAN be such an uplifting experience- when we succeed... and learning experience when we dont :cheesygrinsmiley:

all the best and keep up the green work bro! :thumb:

I like the heavy structure of your girls, heavy buds! That is the best time to take cuts IMHO.....your mothers will stay just like the branch you cloned.

Thanks!!... Im clueless about the bud juice!!:scratchinghead: What/Where is it!?!?

Nube Q!! Lol!! Whats the GLR light cycle?... I agree 100% about the first week!! Its like it was no change at all! Lol! Now they are looking different every day!! :) I transplanted then into 1.5gal. buckets!! Pics coming soon!!... As I stated in the reply above I have no idea what or where the bud juice is!! Could you feel me in on this info!!... I have another 'SourBlueKush' seedling!! Im hoping for better luck this time around!! The 1st 'SourBlueKush' was a male, for anyone else that's just tuning in. :)... Any who!!! Stay tuned!! MORE UPDATES & PICS COMING SOON!!! :) :ganjamon:

Sorry bro, I meant flowering nutrients.

What kind would u recommend? Keep in mind, my ladies planted in MG Potting Mix with Micromax!!

When starting from seed the transition can take awhile unless the plant is grown out for awhile in veg like a couple months or longer.
Cuttings seem to transition faster in my own eyes. The light intensity also is a factor as well.

need to go back a bit and see what else has been happening over here.

OH YEAH!!!! I mistakenly put the name tags on all fucked up, I noticed the difference in the two ladies (1 Sativa & 1 Indica). I retraced my growing and I actually have a female 'HypnoBuzz' & a female 'SledgeHammer'!!!:):)

When taking cuts you should try and wait for the plant to start growing with alternating nodes. Meaning the fan leaves should be staggered up the stem not parallel with each other. They will still root but This was just something I was taught.

other than that +reps plants look good and green.:thumb:

glr would be gas lantern routine theres a bunch of people using that technique
just look up glr or gas lantern routine
has to do with slowly over time cutting the light down allowing it to transition into bloom alot quiker when you drop to 12/12

Time for pics and updates!!!:ganjamon:

hey there bro!
sorry i havent stopped back in for so long but i found this diagram which might help elucidate the GLR cycle a bit for ya- as Lurch mentions above its 12 hours ON and 12 hours OFF- exactly in the middle of the OFF cycle turn the lights on for 1 HOUR- thats 12 hours on- 5 and half hours off-1 hour on-5 and half hours off(=24 hours total):
GLR1.jpg

im not 100% if the GLR light cycle proper also includes the diminishing fall cycle?? this diagram includes the diminishing fall cycle in the flowering stage- as you can see it declines by 30 minutes every week. i have used the diminishing fall cycle on its own but not with the GLR combined- i will be using both of these in my current grow.

anyhoo! plants are looking tacky as heck :cheesygrinsmiley: :goodjob: :thumb: keep up the great work brother!
