My First Grow Journal

Badass Video @Fastass419 . I heard every bit. Im with @Dankman_420 . In the tent with the 2 sp250. Get the plants off the wall and put them closer together barely touching each other. Maybe, move the lights a little bit closer together if you decide doing that.

Temps/humidity sound good to me
Ok i can do that I'm going to have to build a scaffolding for the little king tut in the back but the will be no problem thanks for the help
Hey bud,:roorrip::roorrip:..the only thing was how that little fan is always blowing up like that , right on that lil plant.. I'm not a big tent fan , otherwise things looked good. Cheers man..:high-five:
Yes I'm changing that one out for a small oscillating one need the next couple of days thanks for the help
Yes it does keep me busy but I love every bit of it ok maybe not killing them before they are done but growing them has saved my health I was starting to get lazy then I got married went on my honeymoon and when I came home these 4 little thing where in my house and now I'm hooked

these are the very first plant I ever touched that was 10/20/19

Hey @Fastass419 ..i didn't mean to sound like a jackass with the plants on the wall. Everything looks fantastic buddy and looks like you have busted your ass in a short period.
Temps/humidity sounds great to me but if you can get the temps a little higher you will see faster growth..maybe 72-75..baby steps when you can.
I always like a fan blowing just above my canopy and one blowing right under. No to heavy blowing with those temps.

Sounds silly but i always take my shirt off in the grow room. If im cold they are too.. :high-five:
Buddy your great they just woke up temp now is 76 I'm not that good i cant keep a 600w hid that cool I'm putting a heater in there for them clones I don't want them getting that cold

Hey would this work Silica it says its 45% silica dioxide or is that to strong
No that's way too much. You are looking for something around 6-8% in a liquid form. The Protekt has 7.8% but you have to watch where you buy it as prices vary. I just ordered a different brand, something that was local, but I couldn't find anything on the silicon dioxide value. The price point was a lot better so hopefully it'll work.

Here's a link on how farside makes his own.

Ok, bud. I thought you mentioned in the tent with the 2 sp150 it was high 60's temp and 40 something humidity.
Yeah, that 600wat definitely alot harder to keep cool..all good either way..
Great looking grow room Fast. Wish i had that space, youre utilizing it well.
Movie time with the wifey..
You guys have me/wife hooked on Dexter on Netflix..thanks@PCaddict :high-five:
Have A great night @Fastass419 , @Duggan , @MrSauga and friends

I would like to know how to get silica to the plants without using potassium silicate. Isn't there some form that roots can use that doesn't contain any potassium? Seems like a great idea to have something that doesn't always need to be compensated for to keep your N-K ration in line.

Not sure really, and it's something that farside may be able to explain better. Most of the Silica such as Protekt ends up with 3% K so I'm guessing that the amount of silicon dioxide is pretty standard across the board, contrary to the article. The stuff I am trying out is Cyco Silica and I'll let you know the SiO2 value once it arrives. It has a K value of 3%, the same as Protekt, so I believe the SiO2 should be the same.

Ok guys sorry was busy today doing work around the house bought the last bud I hope I ever have to buy again got work done in the room more trimming and a little home made scrog for little diablo the branches never got strong now the buds where just laying on top of each other and no airflow it's not pretty right now but I think it will recover under the light just fine here is a couple pics
