My First Grow Journal

sorry for the drive by ...

digital timers work great for led lighting, and most other grow room applications.

they are useless for all old magnetic ballast hid lighting, and i personally don't trust them with newer hid lighting either. there are digital versions that will work for those applications though.

some appliances have a high initial draw, like hid lighting ballasts, and they require the heavier digital timer or a decent mechanical one. large or compressor style air pumps for bigger operations would be another example.

i've had the clock works on mechanical timers fail. if you go mechanical get a good brand... i've had the nylon gears groove out. was the reason i bought my first digital.

my 600w hid is on a heavy duty old mechanic timer.

perfect. leave it right there.

I'm testing that digital timer it would be put on 2 75w leds so not near the draw. Well see

it'll do just fine unless absolute junk. i run a couple true draw 300 watt led drivers with digital timers and have never had an issue. they are a decent, but easily available, hardware store brand. would expect a life span closer to 5 yrs tho - not 20.... my current ones are at the upper end of that 5 yrs .... :cheesygrinsmiley:

That's Great Sparkey . You wont regret trying Docs kit. I wish I had the Snake Oil earlier. I didn't order it when I got the Bulk bottles and I needed it sooner but I have it now. Its also you got the bulk kit I ran out of tea and TP so I ordered the bottles in bulk.

Duggan is wanting to start the grow in July now so I hope that works for you guys. But I understand if it doesn't work out for some so they may start earlier or later. I am going to try out some of my 8 or 9 week strains. and see how they do so I have put my K A5 Haze and Malawi off till after the NH grow.

The root system is pretty much built up once in flower so there's no point in trying to tease the roots to the sides. Your plant at one point through flower will start to drink more so the only thing you need to be aware of is the frequency may change so there is less time between waterings.

Oh here is a couple pics of the tent and then a couple close up of the bud sits

Thanks @MrSauga should I start giving them my up flower nutrients
I'm not too familiar with your nute line but by the second week of flower you should be able to give it any bloom nutes the manufacturer recommends, albeit you'd have to be careful with dosages as you don't want to overfeed either.
